Hi! I'm a Licensed Professional Clinical Counsellor (LPCC) based in Minnesota. Additionally, I am a Licensed Drug and Alcohol Counselor (LADC). I received my Masters from the Adler Graduate School and have been practicing for over 10 years. I consider myself a relational therapist.
Having worked in the field for many years, I've work with civilly committed sex offenders in a inpatient setting, outpatient chemical use and outpatient mental health program.
I help adults who are struggling become the best versions of themselves that they can be happy with.
First session
In our first session together, we'll start with brief introductions, then dive into the specific challenges you're facing. This will help me create a tailored plan for us to work through in follow-up sessions.

I've developed a tried-and-true playbook for helping you (a) identify the root cause of your challenges and (b) create a tailored plan that leads to measurable progress.
Ideal clients
I enjoy helping adults and those who struggle with addiction issues, which includes people who have committed sex crimes (charged or not), and anger management to offer coping skills and able to get to root core issues that may be keeping you in the same cycle. I serve clients who may not think or believe there is a problem to people who want to maintain their gains from treatment. No matter where you land on this continuum I am here to help.
Treatment methods
Christian Counseling
I believe when we have faith, seek and submit ourselves to the plans God has for us, we no longer have to do things on our own strength. Matthew 17:20: "Truly I tell you, if you have faith as small as a mustard seed, you can say to this mountain, 'Move from here to there,' and it will move. Nothing will be impossible for you". This is one of my favorite scriptures. There is so much peace and freedom I have found in it over the years. Believer or not, allow me to help you through this phase of life.
Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)
I have been using CBT for years now and believe it to be a very useful and practical tool.
Forensic Psychology
I spent quite a bit of time working with civilly committed sex offenders.
Motivational Interviewing
Most of my career has been working with individuals in varying stages of change and this treatment method is proven to be effective.
