"Hi, I’m Kerste DeCoteau, a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor. I work with [adults,couples teens, families around anxiety, depression, relationship concerns, trauma, life transitions, etc. My approach is collaborative and strengths-based — I use DBT, CBT, ART, Solution Focused, depending on what fits you. I Therapy with me is collaborative and practical: we’ll identify goals together, work on skills and insight, and track progress so you know therapy is helping. I’m committed to creating a safe, nonjudgmental space that respects cultural background, identity, and lived experience. Confidentiality is a cornerstone of our work; I’ll explain limits to confidentiality and the process for consent and safety planning at the start of care.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions
I make feel people feel heard and seen. People are often very comfortable in my presence, I am empathetic and willingness to taylor treatment to you and your neeeds.7
The clients I'm best positioned to serve
My ideal client would like to develop and learn together. My ideal client may have anxiety, depression, mood regulation, mood disorder or etc. My ideal client is aware of themselves and is open to sharing and developing actual skills to cope with some of their symptoms as well as talk about the emotional part of themselves and life.
Dialectical Behavior (DBT)
I am trained in DBT practice and have utilized this Modality for over 2 years.
Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)
Trained in CBT and have utilized this Modality for a few years as well.
