Many people come to therapy feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or exhausted from trying to manage everything on their own. Whether you’re struggling with anxiety, depression, stress, life transitions, or challenges with eating and body image, therapy can be a place to slow down, feel understood, and begin making meaningful changes. I strive to create a warm, supportive, and nonjudgmental environment where clients feel safe being themselves. My approach is collaborative and practical — together we explore patterns that may be keeping you stuck, build coping strategies that actually fit your life, and work toward goals that matter to you. I use an evidence-based approach that includes Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), mindfulness-based techniques and Measurement informed care. I tailor therapy to each individual’s unique needs, strengths, and experiences. Whether you are dealing with constant worry, low self-esteem, relationship stress, emotional eating, perfectionism, or simply feeling disconnected from yourself, you do not have to navigate it alone. I want to help people heal the relationship they have with themselves, their emotions, and their bodies.”

I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and former comedian, and I bring both of those experiences into the therapy room. I believe meaningful work can happen without therapy feeling overly stiff or clinical. When appropriate, I use humor to help ease tension, build connection, and make difficult conversations feel more approachable. My style is straightforward, collaborative, and adaptable to what you need. Some people come to therapy with clear goals and want tools and direction, while others are simply looking for a safe, supportive space to talk through what’s on their mind. Both are completely valid, and we can move at a pace that feels right for you. I aim to create an environment where you can be honest, feel understood, and still be challenged in a way that leads to growth. Therapy doesn’t require you to have the right words or a perfect starting point—just a willingness to show up and begin.

Out of my 63 years of life in this planet, 28 of those years have been spent assisting others within a diverse number of areas and environments. Narcissistic Abuse/Antagonistic personality style partner or other person in your life? As part of my work with individuals dealing with divorce, widowhood, and coparenting, I provide care and assistance for individuals directly or indirectly involved in relationship with an individual who displays behaviors which may indicate a narcissistic or antagonistic personality style. Note: It is neither possible or ethical for a provider to diagnose an individual who has not come in for assessment/diagnosis/treatment. However, a provider can work with an individual to learn to cope and navigate difficult relationships with difficult individuals. In addition to individual in partner relationships with such an individual, I also work with family members who are struggling with how to relate, support, and cope with a loved one who appears to be entangled in such a relationship. Complex circumstances need to be considered in deciding whether to remain in the relationship or to consider it's necessary to consider leaving. For folks who have separated or divorced from such a situation, the recovery and aftermath intervention and support is often needed on order to heal, restore, and recover. If children and the courts are involved, there are additional areas to address. I also provide care for adults who are highly intelligent and possibly/likely on the spectrum. Regardless of or whether an adult is diagnosable with autism, being highly intelligent can present with social and emotional challenges. On the side, I enjoy writing, performing, teaching, and recording music, both vocal and guitar. I have been teaching/empowering "non-singers" to sing for over 30 years with a therapeutic program I have developed called "Singing in the Shower."

The field finally knows how to help you go beyond coping with your most difficult issues, to honestly resolving them and proceeding in genuine feelings of wellbeing and gratitude. I share simple, insightful principles with you that expedite your finding the answers you seek and making the changes you want - recovering your feelings of wellbeing and confidence. I am publishing a four-book series that outlines and describes this simple step-by-step system (recommended but not required). Our sessions are relaxed and conversational. The process is less on expressing and examining your problems, although I take time to understand them at the beginning. The process is more about cultivating the ability to listen deeply to yourself and your inner wisdom, wellbeing and power. It will guide you to your answers and back to how feels and works best for you. Once understood, this is a free-flowing, easy and enjoyable experience.

Hi! I'm Jen Tucker, a licensed mental health counselor who is passionate about serving others. I'm a military veteran and a military spouse. I'm also a wife, mom, and grandmother. I've been through a lot in my life. Most of you have too. After all, you find yourself here looking for something. It is my firm belief that each and every one of us has tremendous potential. We all have unique talents and skills, honed and sharpened through our life experiences. These experiences, while crucial to shaping us, can also leave us hurt, confused, numb, or insecure. It is paramount that we stop along our journey to take stock, address our needs, heal, and refocus. Sometimes, we realize we may benefit from having extra support or guidance through these moments. That is where therapy can help. Throughout my counseling career, I have had the privilege of being able to walk beside clients as they process the past, learn to be comfortable in the present, and get excited for the future. I am certified in trauma and treat clients with a wide range of concerns. Whether you feel ready to dive into therapy, or you are just contemplating the idea, I'd love to hear from you. I am currently accepting video clients for individual therapy. If you aren't ready to make contact, I have some resources available for self-reflection. I specialize in working with people struggling with eating disorders—anorexia, bulimia, binge eating disorder, and related challenges. I recognize these aren't simply about food; they're deeply intertwined with emotional complexity, cognitive patterns, and questions of self that demand thorough, empathetic treatment. Through my specialized Modified DBT training, I help clients navigate overwhelming feelings while building healthier ways of coping. I also frequently work with those facing debilitating anxiety—whether it shows up as persistent worry, panic attacks, or avoidance. My practice includes young adults in transition, working professionals dealing with performance stress, and adolescents managing social and academic demands. Beyond this, I support people experiencing depression who want active, goal-oriented approaches to confront negative thinking and rediscover purpose. I work with trauma survivors prepared to work through painful experiences, individuals with mood disorders seeking greater equilibrium, and those navigating identity questions tied to life changes, relationships, or core values. What my clients have in common is readiness—they're committed to actively participating in their healing. They're looking for more than a listening ear; they want actionable tools, collaborative exploration, and proven methods that lead to real transformation. If you're willing to engage fully and commit to your own development, I'm ready to partner with you on that journey.

Feeling stuck, stressed, or misunderstood? You’re not alone — and support is closer than you think. I’m Karie, a neurodivergent Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor certified in ADHD and autism, and the founder of Imagine Perspectives, a mental health practice established in 2024. I work with children, teens, and adults who are ready to navigate life’s challenges, build confidence, and find practical strategies to manage stress, anxiety, and overwhelm. Since 2012, I’ve also offered adult and pediatric hypnotherapy to help clients achieve emotional balance, clarity, and personal growth. At Imagine Perspectives, therapy isn’t just about sitting and talking. It’s about creating a warm, welcoming space where you feel safe, seen, and understood. We use interactive tools, games, art, and play to help clients explore challenges in ways that feel natural, engaging, and empowering — meeting each person exactly where they are. In addition to therapy, we offer one- and two-day interactive workshops for children and adults. These experiences provide a chance to pause, reset, and gain tools that build resilience, spark confidence, and inspire hope — even when life feels overwhelming. They’re practical, fun, and designed to leave participants feeling refreshed and ready to approach life with a new perspective. Whether you’re here for therapy or a workshop, my goal is the same: to create a space where you feel truly seen, supported, and empowered. A place where your experiences are honored, your challenges met with compassion, and your strengths celebrated. Because everyone deserves a space to grow, connect, and simply be themselves.

My goal is to work with each person individually from a person-centered perspective. I want you to feel that you are in control of your progress by identifying your needs and focusing on your strengths . My specialties include depression, anxiety, relationship issues, behavioral challenges, post-partum depression, parenting, chronic illness, and grief. It is important that you know you are accepted and with therapy you are able to address the concerns you have and learn to effectively work through them. I understand therapy can feel uncomfortable and the thought of sharing yourself with someone you don't know (yet) can be overwhelming. My first career includes 17 years of retail management. I worked in multiple divisions, environments, and roles within the retail management industry. Most of my experiences were in the Big-Box retail environments or within the corporate office environment, so I understand the expectations and stressors of P&L management, marketing, staff performance/recruitment/training & development, shrinkage, O.S.H.A. compliance, and merchandising. I transitioned from the retail management industry to the human services industry in March of 2010 after receiving my master’s degree in Human Services with a specialty in Mental Health Counseling. I recently obtained a doctorate degree in Human Services. This information is pertinent for adults who need assistance to cope with work-life balance, corporate industry standards, stressful work environments, conflict management with co-workers, and work performance due to compassion fatigue or inappropriate time management.

Hi, I'm Amanda. If you’re feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or like you’ve tried everything and nothing is quite working, you’re not alone. I work with adults in Minnesota and North Dakota who are navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, life transitions, burnout, and ongoing stress. Many clients feel overworked, emotionally drained, or caught in patterns of overthinking and want to feel more grounded and in control again. My approach is warm, collaborative, and nonjudgmental. I use Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), mindfulness-based, relational, and person-centered therapy, and I am trained in Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART) for trauma. My goal is to help you feel more connected to yourself, understand patterns, and build practical tools for meaningful change.

Hello! My name is Clover and I am a licensed clinical therapist and addiction specialist in the state of North Carolina. I look forward to the opportunity of learning and working together as part of our therapeutic process. I enjoy working with folks who are gender diverse and members of the LGBTQIA+ community who experience unique stressors and conflicts with their day-to-day lives. I also love working with folks who struggle with substance use either in addition to other life stressors or on its own especially in the context of substance use disorders being highly stigmatized. I focus on substance use treatment approaches with a functionality mindset to work on setting reasonable goals and expectations during the clinical process. I started my clinical work with addiction and grew as a therapist and person to see people from a whole-person perspective. Our difficulties, conflicts, our stressors do not define us for who we are and when they prevent or delay us from becoming our authentic selves is where the therapeutic process blossoms. I believe everybody is always in a constant process of growing into our best selves and I hope to have the opportunity to work with you along this process too.

Yes! If you use Aetna - ASR Health Benefits you’ll be asked to verify your Member ID at the time you book the appointment. However, if you don’t have Aetna - ASR Health Benefits you can select cash. Our therapists will have their cost of appointment on their profile. Individual session costs will vary.

The specialty filter is optional. You don’t need to check any boxes to see a provider. However, fit is very important when selecting an online therapist. If you have knowledge or experience to recognize what specialties you may need.

Finding a provider with a similar life experience can be beneficial because it can be easier to establish rapport and potentially be understood quicker and clearer.

Your first therapy session is for you and your therapist to meet each other and to ask any questions that you have about the counseling process. This is where you can expect your therapist to do the same as they will ask questions to gain insight into your specific situation. In this first session the therapist is doing their part to gather as much information so they can better assess if they are able to meet your therapeutic needs. Depending upon your provider's specialty, you may also discuss the methods the therapist will use. For additional information on therapy methods, please visit the Grow Therapy Help Center. Some people feel nervous before their first appointment, and that is totally normal! Coming prepared with a list of questions for your therapist may help. Remember, you're taking a brave step by seeking therapy, and it is okay to be nervous as you try something new.
