New to Grow
I am a licensed mental health counselor working with adolescents and adults navigating anxiety, depression, stress, life transitions, and challenges related to eating and body image. I take an integrative, evidence-based approach, combining Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), and mindfulness-based techniques. I create a supportive, nonjudgmental space where clients feel heard and understood. My goal is to help individuals recognize patterns in their thoughts and behaviors, build practical coping skills, and develop lasting strategies for meaningful change. I tailor my approach to each client, focusing on what works best for their unique needs and goals.
In our first session together, here's what you can expect
Our first session is a chance to get to know each other and explore what brings you to therapy. I create a supportive, nonjudgmental space where you can share at your own pace. Together, we’ll identify patterns in your thoughts, emotions, and behaviors, and I’ll provide practical tools and strategies to manage distress, build coping skills, and create meaningful, lasting change. My goal is to help you feel heard, supported, and ready to take the first steps toward the positive changes you want in your life.
The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions
My greatest strength is my ability to genuinely connect with people and create a supportive, nonjudgmental space where clients feel heard and understood. I use this connection to help clients explore their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors while providing practical, personalized strategies for managing anxiety, depression, and challenges with eating or body image.
The clients I'm best positioned to serve
My ideal clients are adolescents and adults who feel overwhelmed, anxious, or stuck, and are ready to better understand themselves and create meaningful change. They may be struggling with anxiety, depression, or challenges related to eating and body image. Many are motivated for change but feel caught in unhelpful patterns and are looking for both a supportive, nonjudgmental space and practical, evidence-based tools to help them move forward.
Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)
I use CBT because it is an evidence-based approach that helps clients recognize and change unhelpful thoughts and behaviors, leading to improved outcomes in anxiety, depression, and eating disorders.
Motivational Interviewing
I use MI to help clients resolve ambivalence and increase their internal motivation for change in a supportive, nonjudgmental way.
Mindfulness-Based Therapy
I use mindfulness to help people slow down, feel more grounded, and learn how to respond to their thoughts and emotions instead of feeling overwhelmed by them.
