Since earning my Master’s in Counseling in 2019, I have partnered with clients across school-linked, residential, and crisis settings. Today, I dedicate my practice to full-time individual therapy, helping adults navigate life’s complex stressors—including relationship challenges, anxiety, depression, and traumatic experiences. I am trained in several specialized modalities to meet you where you are, including: CBT & DBT: To help you connect thoughts, emotions, and behaviors while building tangible skills for emotional regulation and distress tolerance. Acceptance & Commitment Therapy (ACT): To practice mindfulness and guide you toward living a values-driven life. Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT): To safely process trauma, understand its impact, and rebuild a healthy sense of safety, trust, and self-worth. Believing deeply in a whole-body approach to mental health, I also collaborate with you to integrate healthy lifestyle habits that reduce symptoms and support long-term well-being. Together, we will transform difficult obstacles into a meaningful path forward.
Your first session is all about setting a strong, collaborative foundation for our work together. Here is what you can expect: Questions & Policies: We will begin by reviewing my policies and procedures, ensuring all your questions are answered. Diagnostic Assessment: We will complete a comprehensive assessment. While this portion can feel a bit clinical or interview-style, it is an essential step that helps me truly understand your symptoms and life experiences. Goal Setting: Together, we will identify 2–3 personal goals to guide your therapy journey and map out our path forward.
I approach therapy as a dedicated partnership, combining my clinical expertise with your lived experience. My style is rooted in kindness and empathy, ensuring you feel seen and heard while we develop practical strategies to manage your emotions. I provide clear education regarding symptoms and diagnoses so that you feel empowered by knowledge. I value your input at every stage of the process, ensuring our work is always aligned with your personal goals.
I specialize in working with individuals who are ready to move beyond just managing symptoms to truly thriving. My work is dedicated to helping clients dissolve the grip of chronic stress and burnout while reclaiming a sense of balance. Together, we focus on sharpening emotional regulation and strengthening the foundation of your interpersonal relationships, ensuring you have the tools to navigate life with clarity and resilience.
Other specialties
I identify as
Acceptance and commitment (ACT)
Within Acceptance & Commitment therapy, I help clients identify their values in different areas of life (relationships, leisure, career, spirituality). When you can identify your values and live within your value system you can decrease mental health symptoms.
Christian Counseling
I believe in working with clients within their worldviews. As a Christian, I often see how faith and mental health can intersect. As appropriate and desired by clients, I will utilize scripture to motivate and encourage clients on their life journey.
Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)
As a therapist, I strongly believe in the connection between one's thoughts, feelings, and actions. When we have unhelpful thoughts, it will impact our mood and cause us to react negatively. I help clients identify their unhelpful thoughts, and realistically reframe these thoughts. Also, I help clients identify their triggers to their moods and implement coping strategies to demonstrate emotional regulation.
Cognitive Processing (CPT)
Cognitive Processing Therapy is an evidence-based trauma treatment. Within this framework, I help the client identify their traumatic experience, identify unhelpful thinking patterns, and learn to question their automatic thoughts.
Dialectical Behavior (DBT)
With Dialectical Behavior Therapy, I help clients know understand, and explore dialectical thinking. Also, I am trained to help clients learn these specific skills to improve their overall well-being.
