New to Grow
Chantel is a licensed marriage and family therapist who supports children, teens, young adults, and women through life transitions, anxiety, depression, and relational challenges. She welcomes clients from diverse backgrounds and integrates a holistic approach that emphasizes physical health, nutrition, and strengthening the mind, body, and soul to support healing and recovery. She is committed to creating a safe, nonjudgmental environment where clients can move at their own pace while focusing on solutions that foster growth, resilience, and lasting change.
Your first session is a calm, structured conversation where we get to know each other and begin building a plan for your therapy. We start by settling in and going over confidentiality so you understand how your information is protected. Then I invite you to talk about what’s been going on, what led you to reach out, and what you hope will feel different. I’ll ask a few background questions, such as your stressors, supports, patterns you’ve noticed, and what change looks like for you. We also talk about times when you’ve felt successful, what that looked like, what helped you get there, and how those strengths can guide your progress now.
Chantel brings compassion, curiosity, and a genuinely client‑centered presence into every session. She creates a safe, steady space where you can be yourself and feel understood without judgment. Her work focuses on helping you identify what’s already working, recognize your strengths, and build on the moments when you’ve felt capable and successful. Rather than staying focused on the problem, she guides you toward small shifts, past wins, and the inner resources that support meaningful change. She listens with intention, asks thoughtful questions, and collaborates with you to create progress that fits your life and goals. She continues to strengthen her clinical skills through advanced training, including certification in crisis intervention, addiction, children and adolescents, and body to stay engaged in the field. At Hope at Sunrise, she holds the belief that each sunrise represents resilience, renewed strength, and the possibility of growth. Your time together is designed to feel safe, grounded, and centered entirely on you.
Having feelings of being stuck in life but still believes change is possible. They’ve tried to handle things on their own, but the same patterns keep showing up, and it’s starting to feel exhausting. Even though they’re unsure where to start, they’re motivated to feel better, think more clearly, and move forward. They want support, direction, and a space where they don’t have to pretend everything is fine. They’re ready to understand what isn’t working, build on what is working, and take small steps toward a life that feels more stable and hopeful. If you’re tired of feeling stuck and want real progress, you’re the kind of person I love to work with.

I identify as
Solution Focused Brief Treatment
In our work together, we spend less time dwelling on the past and more time understanding what’s happening right now. Solution‑Focused Therapy helps us look at what hasn’t worked, what is working, and what small steps can move you toward the resolution you want. Our conversations are practical, supportive, and centered on helping you feel stronger, clearer, and more capable. My specialties aren’t limited to one diagnosis or one type of person.
Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)
In my work, I often use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), which means we pay attention to the connection between your thoughts, feelings, and behaviors. Together, we’ll notice patterns that may be causing stress or keeping you stuck, and then explore healthier, more balanced ways of thinking and responding. CBT is practical and collaborative—you’ll learn tools you can use in everyday life, and we’ll practice them at a pace that feels safe and manageable for you. My goal is to help you feel more grounded, more in control, and more supported as you move toward the changes you want to make.
Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT)
Work on slowing down to understand the deeper emotions that shape your patterns, reactions, and relationships. Together, we explore the moments when you feel disconnected, overwhelmed, or misunderstood, and we look beneath the surface to uncover the needs and fears driving those feelings. EFT is gentle, supportive, and focused on strengthening your sense of safety, both within yourself and with the people who matter to you. You don’t have to have the “right words” or perfect insight; we’ll make sense of things together. If you’re wanting to feel more connected, more understood, and more grounded in your emotional world, this approach can help you create the closeness and clarity you’ve been missing.
