I’m a therapist who shows up with empathy, realness, and cultural understanding. I’ve seen how much pressure people carry, always being the strong one, navigating family expectations, code-switching, and holding it all in just to make it through the day. I became a therapist because I wanted to create the kind of space I wish more of us had growing up, one where you don’t have to explain your background just to feel understood, one where your healing doesn’t require shrinking yourself to fit someone else’s mold. My approach is rooted in honesty, warmth, and trust. I’m not here to fix you, I’m here to walk alongside you, help you make sense of what you’re carrying, and create space for healing, reflection, and growth. I honor your story, your culture, your values, and the complexity of your experiences. Therapy with me isn’t about checking boxes. It’s about being seen, being safe, and figuring things out together in a way that actually feels relevant to your life. Whether you’re navigating anxiety, family dynamics, identity struggles, or just trying to find your peace in a loud world, I’m here to help you sort through the noise and get back to yourself.
We’ll take our time. No pressure to spill everything all at once. I’ll ask some questions to get to know you, but most of all, I’ll listen. We’ll start building a connection and talk about what brought you here, what you need, and how I can support you moving forward.
I’m down-to-earth, culturally aware, and genuinely care about your growth. I balance real talk with therapeutic tools, so sessions feel both validating and effective. Clients often say they feel safe, seen, and understood with me and that means everything.
I work with people who are tired of holding everything in, showing up strong for everyone else, and feeling unseen in the process. Whether you’re dealing with stress, identity issues, family drama, or just trying to make sense of it all; I’m here for you. I especially love working with adolescent/teens, college students, and young adults (ages 11-25) figuring out who they are while breaking cycles and setting boundaries.
CBT helps you understand how your thoughts, feelings, and actions are connected. In our sessions, we’ll work together to notice unhelpful patterns and practice healthier ways to cope, think, and respond to life’s challenges.
Our relationships shape how we see ourselves and others. In this approach, we explore how your past and present relationships impact your emotions, boundaries, and self-worth. Together, we work toward building healthier connections with others and with yourself.
I honor and respect your background, identity, and lived experiences. This means therapy is not one-size-fits-all. I create space for open conversations about culture, race, family, faith, and how these impact your mental health so you feel seen, heard, and supported as your full self.
I approach therapy with the understanding that past experiences can impact how you feel and function today. My goal is to create a safe, supportive space where healing can happen at your pace without judgment or pressure.
This method focuses on your unique strengths, talents, and values. Instead of just focusing on what’s “wrong,” we’ll highlight what’s already working and build on that to help you reach your goals.
