LMFT, 7 years of experience
I’m here to help clients heal from their trauma. Tired of using trauma responses and skills that are no longer working? Or maybe you’re not even sure what a trauma response is. Feeling so angry, numb, or like you just don’t want to think, feel, or remember anything? The blank just isn’t working anymore. The blank never really worked. You may find yourself wondering if any—or all—of it was your fault. The answer is: it is not your fault. Learning to love yourself is one of the hardest things trauma survivors face, and I get that. Trauma healing happens at your pace. You never have to share what you don’t want to—nondisclosure is normal. My role is to provide a safe, compassionate space where you can begin to notice patterns, reconnect with yourself, and discover new ways of coping that actually work. I often use approaches like EMDR and trauma-informed therapy, but every step is tailored to you. One day, you will know and feel that you are enough. Until then, we will walk this path together.
In our first session, you can expect a direct and upfront approach, balanced with empathy and understanding. I want you to feel safe, seen, and supported from the very beginning. I have years of experience working with developmental and complex trauma, including with foster youth, the homeless population, individuals with addictions, and the reentry population. I also bring tons of resources to meet your needs as they come up in therapy. My core belief is that everyone deserves a safe place to heal, and our sessions will provide that foundation as we begin your journey.
My greatest strengths as a provider are being down to earth, easy to talk to, and empathically direct. Clients often tell me they feel comfortable opening up because I meet them with honesty, warmth, and understanding. I also think outside the box, tailoring my approach to each person’s needs. I love sharing practical resources—whether it’s books, grounding tools, or new strategies—so clients can build confidence, strengthen coping skills, and ultimately become their own hero.
I love working with professionals who are seeking to heal and get unstuck in their lives. Many of my clients feel weighed down by old patterns and are ready to make a change, even if they’re not sure where to begin. I believe that the past lives in the present—and in order to heal, we must learn how to feel. My role is to encourage and support clients as they discover who they are, break free from what no longer serves them, and step into the best version of themselves.
I offer the specialty of being trauma informed using psychoanalytic. Understanding the origins of the negative cognitive belief, relating it back to the present behaviors is apart of healing. The past is in the present. I use EMDR, talk therapy and mindfulness. I offer individual, couple and family therapy. I have a nonjudgmental approach with a safe space.

Erica is exactly what I've needed. Someone to be direct and give me solutions. As soon as I say a problem, she immediately starts looking up how I can get a better outcome. I feel like I can just say whatever is on my mind with no judgement. Very grateful for her!

I look forward to next session. Unloading and refocusing was much needed. Can't wait to reap the benefits of continued therapy with her.

After reading Erica’s bio, I was hopeful. I was ready to finally do in depth work in reaction to the constant trauma throughout my life. When I read in her bio that she deals with trauma, I thought that we’d be a good fit. I feel that Erica does her job exceptionally. Because she is solution oriented, keeps me on task, compassionate & empowering. I’m very grateful for her & the work that we are doing.
