Hello, I'm Danell. Do you ever feel your past getting in the way of your future? Is it hard to be positive? As a counselor, my role is to provide support and guidance to help individuals make positive changes in their lives. I’m ready to listen to your thoughts, fears, and concerns without judgment. I find that many times individuals already know the solution. My goal is to help you identify the barriers that are holding you back. My approach focuses on identifying past traumas that are affecting your daily life and helping you to process them.

In our first session together, we'll start with brief introductions, then dive into the specific challenges you're facing. This will help me create a tailored plan for us to work through in follow-up sessions.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

I am naturally a calm and patient person and this made counseling an ideal fit for me. My focus on trauma has taught me to identify triggers and I have learned that even seemingly 'minor' traumas can impact us in ways we never imagined. I look forward to working with you to identify anything that is preventing you from experiencing life the way you want to.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

I prefer working with individual clients aged 13 and older. I specialize in therapy with individuals and have limited experience with couples and families. If you are looking for a couples or family therapist you can search by specialty to find one.

She helps me work through my thoughts/feelings in a way that allows me to identify why certain things made me feel the way that they did and also understand the point of view of other people so I don't end up spiraling into negative thinking and what ifs, as I am prone to doing that a lot.
