Sometimes, ironing out or understanding problems in life with self and others is identifying, considering & accepting options to implement effective healthy change, small or great. First session will help you feel welcomed, supported & I'll lay the groundwork for our online sessions, obtain the reason for therapy, how you'd like me to help you, and I'll gather your background info.
My strengths include compassion & determination for our human condition and the belief that we can rise, love, forgive, live, learn, use more wisdom and gratitude. And for all to develop in right character, humility and respect as no one is exempt from struggle.
Integrate biblical & psychological principles towards finding solutions to problems, gaining insight, collaboratively create conditions for growth to elicit effective change. Utilize modalities that can identify & modify patterns of thinking, feeling & behaving to better cope with change, stress and depression. Several therapies include Solution Focused Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, DBT, Brief Psychodynamic Therapy, and Acceptance & Commitment Therapy.
