Difficulty relaxing? Constantly overthinking? Overwhelmed by your emotions? Feeling stuck? My name is Danielle, and I specialize in supporting women who are struggling to manage anxiety, panic, low self-esteem, PTSD and/or a pattern of unhealthy relationships. Women who may be frustrated that their coping tools are no longer working, or those who feel ready to shift from managing their emotional pain to healing it. Although it can be therapeutic to talk about our problems, I believe that we need to feel our emotions to truly heal. I specialize in using Brainspotting and somatic techniques to support you in healing emotional stress/trauma and creating a stronger relationship with yourself. I approach therapy with an open mind and heart, providing a safe space to address your concerns without shame or judgment. I believe that you are the expert on yourself, and my role is to support and guide you toward healing whatever is keeping you stuck.

Hi! My name is Rosario Aceves. I'm a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who is excited at the opportunity God has given me to help you through Grow Therapy. I have over 15 years of experience working with teens, adults, and the elderly. As Director of Social Services in a nursing and rehabilitation center I dealt with issues around anxiety, depression, grief, family conflict, care planning, end of life issues, counseling clients to better manage, often times very complex health conditions, provided resources and more. As an Integrated Behavioral Health Clinician at a non-profit clinic I provided individual and group therapy, crisis intervention, parenting support, grief and loss, mental health concerns and substance use. I worked closely with, and provided consultation to medical providers and the medical care team to provide holistic and comprehensive care. Due to the pandemic opportunities to provide individual therapy via telehealth has been transformative to both my clients and I. When I'm not working I love spending time alone with God, my husband of 14 years, my four wonderful daughters, family and friends. I have been primarily homeschooling my girls and managing my home to the best of my ability. Being in nature, especially by the ocean or river, drawing, painting, journaling, hiking, playing a sport like soccer, volleyball, basketball, and tennis are things that refuel me.

I’m Dr. Claudia Nuñez a licensed clinical psychologist with over a decade of experience supporting adults through anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, and major life transitions. I believe therapy is not about reliving pain for its own sake. It is about understanding what your suffering has been signaling, and bringing that understanding into the present so you can live with more clarity, self compassion, and choice. Many of the people I work with feel caught in anxiety and overthinking, people pleasing, guilt, burnout, or a deep sense that something needs to change but they cannot quite name what. Others are moving through grief or life transitions that have shaken their identity, relationships, or sense of direction. Some are navigating a spiritual calling or values shift, and feeling both pulled toward meaning and exhausted by the weight of it all. My approach is integrative and evidence based, with Internal Family Systems as a foundational framework. We work with symptoms and patterns as strategies that once helped you get through something difficult. Together we identify what those strategies have been protecting, understanding your unique history, what you truly need now, and how to respond in ways that feel more aligned and sustainable. Alongside talk therapy, I incorporate mindfulness, somatic awareness, and narrative reflection so insight becomes change you can feel in real life. When helpful, we use grounding and breath practices to support nervous system regulation, not to bypass pain, but to build steadiness and stay present with what is true. My style is warm, collaborative, trauma informed, and culturally responsive. We move at a pace that respects your boundaries while supporting meaningful growth.

You Know What You Should Do—So Why Are You Still Stuck? You're spend all your time worrying, feeling anxious, and being overwhelmed - but you're getting tired. You work hard to make everything look “fine” on the outside - but on the inside - it's a whole different story. You're gripped with fear & overthinking that you'll be "found out" - that you're not strong and fear of being seen as weak. You keep up the masquerade even though it's causing you to feel even more nervous, lonely, & disconnected. You just don't want anyone to be let down but it's coming now at a cost. You're becoming more irritable, snappy, tired, not liking the person you are becoming and longing for that person you used to be so you can peace & happiness again. Here's where I come in. I’m Tammy Brooks LMFT, a Solution Focused Brief Therapy Level 3 Practitioner. I provide online therapy for adults wanting to reduce anxiety, change habits, and make lasting change. I used a goal orientated approach that is different than typical “one-size-fits-all” therapy or therapy with endless talk, rehashing pain & no real lasting change. Using a Solution-Focused Brief Therapy, we won’t dwell on what’s not working—we’ll identify what IS working and build momentum from there. In our work together, we’ll focus on your strengths, your goals, and the future you want to build. You’ll rediscover your own resilience and those practical tools that help you feel calmer, more in control, and aligned with the life you want. Ready to discover your strength—contact me today at www.destination-therapy.com or visit my channel at www.youtube.com/@TalkwithTammy and take that first step toward a brighter, more manageable tomorrow.

I'm a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with a Master’s in Counseling Psychology, and I’ve dedicated my career to helping people navigate life’s most complex and painful experiences. Over the years, I’ve worked in diverse settings—including dually diagnosed clinics, domestic violence shelters, community-based agencies, and private practice. Each has deepened my understanding of the human experience and strengthened my ability to support clients with a wide range of challenges. My clinical experience includes working with relationship issues, PTSD, anxiety, depression, grief and loss, eating disorders, mood disorders, co-occurring conditions, and other moderate to severe mental health concerns. I approach therapy from a place of warmth, curiosity, and non-judgment. I believe healing begins in spaces where people feel seen, heard, and safe. I was called to this work not only out of a desire to serve others, but from a personal journey of understanding how we make meaning from suffering. In my practice, I aim to help clients reconnect with their inherent worth, step into their “enoughness,” and cultivate deeper, more authentic relationships—with others and with themselves.

Welcome! *I am currently only taking virtual EAP (employee assistance program) clients.* I work with people outside in the natural world, engaging in ecotherapy practices. We would meet at a local park in the East Bay Area, where we would sit, walk, or explore the area while tending to whatever emotions or questions are arising in you. Connecting with nature has been shown to reduce stress, loneliness, depression, and anxiety and provides a rich landscape for personal growth and healing. If you are interested in learning more, please sign up for a free 15-minute consultation (please do so before scheduling an initial session). Current openings: Thursday afternoons at Tilden Park. Ecotherapy is somewhat different than traditional talk therapy. While there will be space for you to share what is going on in your life, we will also take time to do grounding exercises, practice mindfulness and guided visualizations, and engage with the natural world. This modality provides a uniquely large "container" for healing work associated with woundings from childhood, traumatic experiences, grief, and unlearning patterns that no longer serve you. The natural world shows us the lifecycles of plants and animals, the interdependence of ecosystems, and the colors, textures, sounds and smells that awaken our senses. In this context, there are endless ways to make meaning of the suffering you are experiencing and to gain insight into your emotions and relationships. For people who are exploring their purpose and are considering work or relationship changes, ecotherapy can support you to embody your true self and better understand your role within the community.

I am a Bay Area native woman who identifies as a Christian, mother, social worker, and African-American. Growing up, I had a rough childhood in which I stayed with multiple family members and was exposed to the “fast” life and dysfunctional relationships, as well as the “9 to 5 working”, church centered, married life. While both made me into the woman I am, it was really my grandparents taking me in as a teen and showing me unconditional love, that made me able to not become another statistic, and understand what love is. My healing journey was not easy, but it was necessary! It is the people who poured into me and believed in me when I didn’t love or believe in myself that help me transform from broken and angry to the confident woman who loves herself and steps out on faith and gives back to those who have past or current circumstances that are holding them back from being there best version of them. I am not here to judge or tell anyone how to live. I am here to help people release their traumas, hurts, and other obstacles so they can restore to a healthy level of functioning mentally, spiritually, and physically. I focus on the person as a whole as our health mentally, spiritually, and physically, has a direct impact on on well being, and an imbalance in any one can hinder our level of functioning.

Do you ever feel overwhelmed or find yourself stuck in the same relationship patterns? Life can throw us emotional and mental challenges that leave us feeling lost, disconnected, or unsure of what to do next. My goal is to help you make sense of what’s happening, understand yourself more deeply, and find healthier ways to move through difficult moments. Since 2002, I’ve worked with men and women who are tired of always putting others first. Together, we’ll explore what’s keeping you stuck and build clarity, confidence, and direction—so you can create relationships (and a life) that feel more authentic and fulfilling.

I’ve worked in various roles in the mental health field since 1991 and have been a practicing clinician since 2012. My approach is genuine and authentic, warm and welcoming. I hope to help others appreciate what is sometimes the absurdity and incongruity of life's situations. It’s good to laugh, to have joy, appreciate what is better. GROW is secondary employment, and during the day I work for a county mental health plan delivering complex interventions for youth, families, and adults. On this platform I offer time in the evenings.
