LMFT, 8 years of experience
Welcome! I am a first-gen, bilingual LMFT (English/Spanish) based in the Los Angeles area. My work is deeply rooted in ancestral wisdom, cultural healing, and trauma-informed care. My work is a reflection of my lived experience navigating identity, family dynamics, and the weight of generational expectations. I carry the stories of those who came before me and hold sacred the power of reclaiming identity, voice, and inner knowing. I integrate EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) to support deep trauma healing, emotional regulation, and reconnection to the body. Alongside EMDR, I use person-centered therapy, which honors your autonomy, your wisdom, and your pace. My approach is also deeply informed by decolonial and ancestral frameworks, which invite us to challenge oppressive narratives, reconnect to lineage, and root your healing in something bigger than pathology, something sacred. *I've chosen to center my practice on the healing needs of women and the LGBTQIA+ community. I do not currently work with cisgender heterosexual men, minors, or court-involved clients in order to preserve alignment with my clinical roots*
Our first session is all about building a foundation of safety. You don’t have to share your whole story right away. We’ll start slow, exploring your reasons for coming to therapy, what you hope to get out of our work, and how I can best support you. I will meet you exactly where you are, no fixing, no rushing, just a grounded space for you to exhale.
I hold space for your pain and your power. My greatest strengths lie in helping clients feel seen in their cultural and emotional complexity, offering a space where vulnerability and strength coexist. I help you remember who you were before the world told you to shrink.
I work best with first-gen women especially daughters of immigrants who are carrying the invisible labor of breaking cycles while trying to find themselves. My ideal clients are navigating complex family roles, identity wounds, grief, anxiety, or trauma. They’re ready to stop performing, start healing, and come home to themselves. If you’re ready to unpack what no longer serves you and reconnect with your voice, I’m the therapist for you.
I've been using person-centered therapy in my practice for the past 8 years. This approach allows you to explore your feelings and thoughts freely, promoting self discovery and personal growth. The focus is on you and your unique experience, empowering you to take an active role in your own healing.
I am a trained EMDR therapist. I help clients reprocess distressing memories, negative emotions and beliefs associated with trauma, ultimately aiming for symptom relief and emotional healing.
