New to Grow
I am a licensed therapist and graduate of the USC Suzanne Dworak-Peck School of Social Work with extensive experience working across diverse populations in acute inpatient and community-based settings. My clinical background includes treating individuals with co-occurring disorders, substance use disorders, trauma-related concerns, and complex mental health needs. I have specialized experience working with veterans and individuals facing acute psychiatric crises. I am a strong promoter of healing and wellness, utilizing a solution-focused, strengths-based approach to support clients in achieving meaningful and sustainable change.
In our first session together, here's what you can expect
Your first therapy session is a time for us to get to know each other and to make sure therapy feels like a good fit for you. It’s normal to feel nervous, unsure, or even relieved to be starting—there’s no “right” way to show up. During this session, we will: • Talk about what brings you to therapy and what you’re hoping to work on • Review important information such as confidentiality, privacy, and your rights as a client • Discuss your background at a pace that feels comfortable for you • Identify immediate concerns, strengths, and supports • Begin outlining goals for therapy together You are not expected to share everything at once. You are always in control of what you choose to discuss, and we will move at a pace that feels safe and manageable for you.
The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions
My clinical strengths include a trauma-informed, non-biased approach that honors each individual’s lived experience. I am skilled in crisis intervention and de-escalation, providing calm, supportive care during moments of heightened distress. I prioritize creating a safe, respectful space where clients feel heard, supported, and empowered to begin the healing process.
The clients I'm best positioned to serve
My ideal clients are those who want to better understand their patterns, build coping skills, and move toward healing and wellness—even if they feel unsure where to start. Whether your goal is stability, recovery, improved emotional regulation, or reclaiming a sense of purpose, I partner with you to identify strengths, develop achievable goals, and create sustainable change.
