Welcome! I'm a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in CA. I received my master's degree in Counseling Psychology from University of San Francisco and have over ten years of experience working with spirituality, grief, and life transitions. I take people on a journey of initiation and reclamation to remember their true essence. My own path has involved listening within and following my heart's guidance. This allows me to offer a unique perspective aimed at healing and stepping into your wholeness.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

In our first session together, I want to get to know you...what has been going on that is leading you to seek out support, learning more about your history, and your strengths. We'll come up with goals for our work together. It is my intention that you leave the session feeling heard, validated, and hopeful. I look forward to being part of your journey!

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

I create a safe space where clients can go as deep as needed in order to identify limiting core beliefs and subconscious programming that is holding them back from living their truth. Using cognitive behavioral therapy, mindfulness, and an integrative approach in our work together, I help clients shine a light on what lies beneath the surface. We bring this into the conscious realm to release the past so that they can live in the present and create their future in alignment with their values.

My treatment methods

Integrative

In addition to being a licensed therapist, I am also a Shamanic healer. I blend earth based healing modalities and indigenous wisdom with Western psychology to create healing of the whole person: mind, body, soul. This involves traditional talk therapy combined with experiential practices that bring a deep heartfelt understanding versus just mentally understanding our experiences. I have been offering this integrative approach for the past seven years and have seen clients improve and live more meaningful lives in a relatively short amount of time.

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

Using cognitive behavioral therapy, I help clients bring awareness to negative thought patterns and limiting beliefs in order to release past conditioning so that they can live in the present and create their future in alignment with their values. By identifying thoughts, feelings, and behaviors and seeing how they are interrelated, clients can interrupt old cycles while utilizing neuroscience to rewire their brains for more positive outcomes.

Somatic

Our bodies hold so much wisdom. I help clients to connect with their bodies and listen to the messages that the body wants to share. Often, clients were not taught how to be in relationship with and understand the wisdom of the body. And many times, when there has been trauma, people have a hard time being in their bodies. I help bridge that gap so that clients can feel safe as they become embodied.
