Hi, I’m Colette, a Licensed Professional Counselor. I know starting therapy can feel like a big step, and I’m glad you’re here. I provide a calm, supportive space where you can feel safe to share your story and begin making sense of what you’re going through.
Grief work is at the heart of my practice. Whether you’re coping with the loss of a loved one, a major life change, or a more personal kind of loss, I’m here to support you. I also work with adults navigating anxiety, depression, addiction and recovery, maternal mental health, and life transitions.
In our work together, we’ll explore your experiences at a pace that feels right for you. We can look at patterns from the past, while also building tools to help you manage the present. I use mindfulness and CBT techniques to support you in understanding your thoughts and finding ways to cope with stress. In grief work, we may also create meaningful rituals or practices to honor your loved ones while caring for yourself. I believe it’s possible to hold both pain and joy, and I will support you in finding that balance.
If you feel ready, I invite you to take the next step and schedule an appointment. I would be honored to work with you.
My passion is helping people transform the life they have into the life they want!!!
In the pursuit of my passion I earned my Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from the University of California, Irvine and my Master's in Clinical Psychology from Azusa Pacific University.
I have been privileged to work in a variety of environments providing psycho-therapeutic services and support including Concordia University, numerous elementary school campuses, various social service agencies and churches as well in my own private practice.
I enjoy working with individuals, couples and families offering Solution-focused short term and long term therapy, customizing therapy based on the client’s needs and seeing them more fulfilling lives.
I'm a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist #101011 with a primary focus on BIPOC folks of all genders and those in the LGBTQIA+ community. As a Black, transgender, and queer therapist, I understand the need for someone who identifies similarly and has a deeper understanding of the issues marginalized communities face. I strive to make sure every client is heard and understood.
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in California who supports adults navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, and life transitions. I earned my Bachelor’s degree in Social Work from California State University, Los Angeles, and my Master’s degree in Social Work with a focus on Adult Mental Health and Wellness from the University of Southern California. I have experience working with clients ages 5 to 65 from diverse backgrounds and walks of life, with specialties in domestic violence, grief, and trauma. I provide a warm, empowering, and nonjudgmental space where clients can feel safe to explore their experiences. Using a blend of CBT, trauma-informed care, and solution-focused therapy, I help clients build practical coping skills, heal from past experiences, and create meaningful, lasting change in their lives.
I am a 74-year old cisgender white woman who grew up in the midwest. I've entered the field of marriage and family therapy after many other careers. I was drawn to this work through my own personal work with therapists I loved and admired. For me, the process is the very "meat" of life. Seeking to release old stuck patterns, seeking to understand, seeking to become all that we can be! We are born to be connected to others, yet we are taught in many cultures to be fierce individuals. We are born into a gender with expectations for what that means from ourselves and others--and our physical gender may not even match our inner experience! It's no wonder that we struggle to find our way through our biographies.
Before becoming a therapist I worked for 25 years as a Waldorf educator. I worked with all ages--Kindergarten through high school. This is a developmental education and an artistic one. I am always informed by our developmental tasks through life, well into our final years. I also enjoy stepping into creative, imaginative when clients are open to it, even if just to think about a problem in a new way.
My imagination serves me when I am with someone. I have experienced a great deal of trauma and loss, but my experience is never the same as yours. With your help I can step into your experience through my capacity to imagine.
My name is Maria C Oliveri, a graduate of Fuller Theological Seminary and the former Director of Clinical Training for the El Monte Police Department. I was educated in the integration of psychology and the Cross, and believe that every meeting is ordained by God. If I am part of your journey and you are part of mine, then we will seek to bring beauty from the ashes, "For I know the plans I have for you, plans to give you hope and a future (Jeremiah 29:11)."
I'm a CA and OR Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) with over 20 years of experience supporting individuals, couples, and families through life transitions, emotional overwhelm, relationship challenges, and substance use concerns. I bring both deep clinical experience and a very human understanding of how hard it can be to ask for help.
My approach is collaborative, honest, and practical. I use evidence-based modalities such as DBT, Motivational Interviewing, Narrative Therapy, and systems-based work, always tailored to your goals and lived experience. Therapy with me is about gaining insight, building skills, and creating real, sustainable change.
Clients often tell me they leave sessions feeling more grounded, more confident in their choices, and better equipped to handle emotions and relationships with clarity and self-trust. My goal is to help you feel less overwhelmed, more connected, and more aligned with the life you want to build.
I am a licensed psychotherapist in private practice, in California. My therapeutic approach is grounded in commonsense, honest dialogue, reflective listening, and mindfulness-based cognitive therapy. I incorporate breath work, journaling, dream exploration, and present-moment awareness to support deeper self-understanding. Personal stories—are full of gratitude and regret—and they offer insight into the choices we make. In therapy, we explore patterns, discover new options, and move forward with courage and compassion. Clients leave with practical tools, greater self-awareness, and a foundation of personal responsibility that supports their longterm independence.
( NOTE: I do have a no show, late show and late cancel policy (see "Practice Details") which includes all clients including those who have insurers who do not cover Grow Therapy for those instances. In the case of a LATE show client will be responsible for pro-rated amount not covered by their insurer. 36hr advance notice is required to cancel or reschedule.)
I’m Jake Sims, a licensed psychotherapist based in California. I work with adults who are struggling with anxiety, depression, relationship issues, addiction, or a general sense of feeling stuck or disconnected. Many of my clients are navigating major life transitions or grappling with questions around identity, purpose, or belonging.
My approach is warm, collaborative, and grounded in deep listening. I draw from psychodynamic therapy, relational work, AEDP, and contemplative traditions like mindfulness and Buddhist psychology. What that means in practice is that I aim to help you explore both the roots of your pain and the parts of you that long for healing, connection, and growth.
I believe therapy works best when it’s not just about solving a problem, but about creating a space where you can be more fully yourself. We’ll pay attention to patterns in your life and relationships, explore emotions you may have learned to push aside, and work together to loosen the grip of old wounds or outdated beliefs. I also try to show up in the room as a real person—someone who’s curious, present, and engaged.
Ultimately, therapy with me is about helping you feel more alive, more connected to others, and more in touch with your own inner resources. If that resonates with you, I’d be honored to work together.
I'm so glad you found your way here. Seeking treatment is an indication of being ready for change and having a new experience of life. I'm an insight oriented therapist meaning I assist clients in illuminating their inner workings and wounds that have created struggles in their lives. I work at a level of healing and empowering with the intention to offer guidance rather than to instruct. You are the expert of your life. Together we take a look at what needs to be addressed and resolved then move into recognizing one's own strengths, value, and worth. This allows individuals to move into greater appreciation and acceptance of self.
I have worked for several years with children, adolescents, adults, couples, and families with a strong focus on personal acceptance, self-compassion, and resolution of internal conflicts based in trauma, depression, anxiety, stress, relationship strain, or lack of direction and focus in one’s life. I specialize in substance abuse and addiction treatment. Having been in recovery for 10 years myself, I understand the journey of ending the cycle of self destruction and moving to a place of healing and greater peace.
“True Peace comes from within, despite the chaos around us.”
Pain and brokenness are an inevitable part of life. My therapy approach is holistic and incorporates the exploration of cultural, generational, and spiritual components which may be affecting you and your relationships. My goal is to work with you to develop congruence and balance in your intrapersonal (within self) and interpersonal (between self and others) experiences. Whatever the struggle, I will walk alongside you to help find solutions and promote growth in your life.
I have been working in this field for 13 years and have focused on family conflict, relationship distress, anxiety/depression and childhood issues. I have a multicultural background which allows me to understand the complexities of cultural issues that often cause challenges in people's relationships and lives.
Strong families are the foundation for a healthy society. That is why I am especially passionate about supporting individuals in learning effective ways to relate to their family members while dealing with the chaotic situations that life brings. I provide people with tools to understand their past family dynamics, current dysfunctional patterns, and to make intentional change in their future goals and relationships.

My passion for therapy is rooted in a deep desire to connect with others. Growing up in a family rich in cultural diversity, I have had the privilege of hearing stories from relatives of various backgrounds, which sparked my curiosity and appreciation for different perspectives. I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist who practiced for ten years in a nationally recognized outpatient healthcare clinic before beginning my solo practice. After completing my Bachelor’s degree in psychology at Chapman University, I decided to change careers and pursue a Master’s degree in Clinical Psychology with an emphasis in Marriage and Family Therapy. Working for the clinic provided an extraordinary learning environment and allowed me to benefit from collaboration with amazing clinicians who share my passion to help others. I now continue to utilize the skills and experience I've accumulated to share these benefits with my clients.
My name is Judy Jordan and I am a Licensed Marriage Family Therapist with over 20 years years of professional experience in counseling with children,, adults, and families. I took an evening course in Psychology 5 when starting school, and by the end of it , I knew I wanted to become a therapist. I was drawn to understanding people on a deeper level and helping them through their struggles. With support from my dad, I left my job and went back to school starting from scratch. I loved every minute of learning and felt more certain with each class that I was on the right path. My dedication paid off...I earned straight A's and received the Academic Achievement Award in Psychology. More importantly I found a sense of purpose in supporting others on their mental health journeys.
Self-knowledge can only take us so far in dealing with our challenges. It may go deeper than that with our most persistent issues. It can be invaluable to have a trusted and non-judgmental person to help us see our blindspots and to provide insights that we can't see on our own. If you feel ready to talk about making more progress in your personal growth and recovery, I hope you'll schedule a session today.

Is this the first time you thinking about having therapy? Let's talk about what therapy is and is not. Tell me your expectations. Therapy is in part, talking about how you are feeling whether you have depression, anxiety, or feel overwhelmed by your work, family or relationships or by all three . But that is just the beginning. My name is Judith Copeland, I am a licensed Clinical Social Worker, and I want to help you achieve the positive changes would you like to see in your life.
Do you feel you cannot cope, have no self-esteem or don’t even know what will make you happy? Together we will uncover your strengths and you will learn the skills you need to better manage your emotions. I use several treatment methods including, Cognitive Behavior Therapy, Mindfulness, Integrative Therapy and Dialectical Behavior Therapy to tailor your care to your specific needs.
We will explore what is holding you back from achieving your goals and help you heal from past traumas. You will learn how your negative beliefs influence your mood and get in the way of your happiness. Often, we forget that everything is connected. Mind, Body, and Spirit. We need to take care of ourselves physically, psychologically, and spiritually. We often don’t really understand how deeply connected they are to our well-being. I will help you learn that self-care is just as important and or even more important as everything else you do.
We have within ourselves the ability to create the life we want and become the person we want to be. I would like to support you on this journey and look forward to meeting you.
I have extensive training in cognitive-behavioral therapy, applied behavioral analysis, neuropsychology, and psychoanalysis. My therapeutic approach is integrative, drawing from one or a combination of these methodologies based on what will be most beneficial for each individual. Additionally, humanistic and Adlerian psychology have significantly influenced my perspective, shaping my practice into an eclectic framework.
I believe that there is no single ‘best’ therapeutic approach—only what is best suited for the individual seeking support. My diverse training allows me to tailor interventions to meet the unique and specific needs of each client, ensuring a personalized and effective therapeutic experience.
My name is Diana Tavares. I am a patient and empathic Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW). I am passionate about creating a sacred and safe space during the therapeutic process for you to feel confident in your ability to create positive changes in your life. I believe that everyone is deserving of a loving relationship with themselves, the world, and those around them. In our work together, my hope is that we create a new toolbox of coping mechanisms and break personal and generational patterns that no longer serve to enhance the quality of your life and for you to live more aligned and at peace.
My goal in my counseling is to help my clients live deeply fulfilling lives. I help clients increase their psychological flexibility through various tools and approaches including evidence-based Acceptance and Commitment Therapy to change their thought patterns. I use experiential approaches including Hypnotherapy to work with subconscious minds and remove blocks that are deep in their psyche. I also provide mindfulness training, which is one of the key techniques for the clients to be more present and accepting in their lives, rather than react reflexively.
Each individual's struggles are complex and tied to many factors including their social environment, their physical health, the phases of their lives, skills they already possess, etc. In other words, change can happen in a variety of ways and that's what counseling can help with, pointing out the direction and even the next steps that can help the client to get to their goals and intentions.
I work with clients experiencing sleep disorders, chronic pain, anxiety, mood issues, ADHD, career counseling, and those who simply need a tune-up.

Hi, I’m Justin, a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with over a decade of experience supporting adults with anxiety, trauma-related symptoms, and relationship stress. My approach is compassionate, structured, and grounded in evidence-based treatment, including EMDR, CBT, and DBT-informed skills. I believe therapy should feel both safe and effective—where you feel deeply understood while also gaining tools that lead to meaningful change. I strive to create a calm, supportive environment where healing feels possible.
Welcome! I use a non-judgmental and warm approach to help you sort through current challenges and identify a way forward. We all need support at times in our lives and therapy can be a space for you to gain insight, cultivate compassion, identify old patterns, and listen to your own internal wisdom. Short term therapy can be a helpful way to address specific issues and identify action steps to reduce stress and increase your overall wellbeing.
Choosing a therapist can be challenging and confusing and one might ask, what does therapy involve? From my experience Therapy involves developing a very special relationship between a professionally licensed practitioner called a therapist and one or more people seeking to collaboratively define and achieve constructive change. This relationship is referred to as the therapeutic bond and is considered one of the most important parts of successful therapy. As such our first step in therapy is, from day one, to form that bond by establishing a trusting, non-shaming environment where any adolescent, person, couple, or family will feel safe and sense the therapist listens, cares, responds appropriately and understands.
Therapy on my behalf will involve empathy, genuineness, and mindful acceptance while we collaboratively establish therapeutic changes / goals which you feel are both desired and are ready to work forward and achieve. Our sessions will involve the language of change as perceived by you the client(s), and constructive finding of solutions. You will be able to present your story without fear of rejection dismissal, guilt or shame.
I enjoy working with individuals, couples, and families. I am very effective with adolescents and young adults, and people working in the stressful world of business, hi tech and active military service members, and veterans. During my time as a therapist, I have built a reputation as a caring, effective therapist who has my client’s best interests at heart. If you feel a connection or that contacting me could be of value, I would be very happy to hear from you. Until such time I wish you the very best in your quest.
Sincerely,
Mike

I am here to help you heal, accept, prosper, and lay down any burdens that have kept you feeling stuck. I provide a safe space for authenticity, vulnerability, and alliance as we have all experienced times of feeling misunderstood, lost, and alone. As a social worker, I take a holistic approach, considering your physical, psychological, and social well-being to best personalize what you need in our sessions.
I specialize in developmental and relational trauma, grief and loss, and self-exploration. Trauma and grief change our patterns of thinking, and views of ourselves and the world around us. Together, we can develop psychological flexibility, alter behaviors that are holding you back, and implement security back into your life. I have predominately worked with transitional-aged youth, adults, and older adults with a wide spectrum of difficulties and hardships. I'm here to hear your story, support your goals, and help you uncover the "unseen" barriers that stand in your way.
I utilize trauma-informed approaches and behavioral techniques to help you master skills, edit unhelpful narratives, and feel empowered to navigate life's inevitable stressors. I use a mind/body approach so that we can uncover root causes, learn greater nervous system regulation, and create healthy lifestyle habits to achieve the sustainable equilibrium you are searching for. Whether you are dealing with unprocessed loss and trauma, emotional disturbances, interpersonal challenges, or self-doubt, I'm here to collaborate with you to find peace and purpose.
In our sessions, I will integrate mindfulness, psychoeducation, skill-building, curiosity, and compassion. Let's work together to redefine the parts of yourself that no longer serve you and create a meaningful life based on your values.
I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist. I spent 5 years working in community mental health agencies with clients that had severe mental health diagnoses such as: Major depression, addiction, bipolar I & II, schizoaffective disorder as well as psychotic disorders. I provided case management, individual therapy and ran the following groups: LGBTQ+, Substance Abuse and CBT Skills. I have experience with adolescents, adults and elders.
I have specialized interest and experience working with individuals dealing with anxiety, depression and trauma and I meet you wherever you are on your journey. I offer my presence, empathy, authenticity and facilitate work in a way that helps you look at aspects you maybe unaware of that are needed, aspects that no longer serve and offer tools to start to move forward on your journey with renewed hope and understanding. I choose from different therapeutic modalities and am very interactive in my sessions, helping you to connect the dots to the stuck parts of yourself so you can start to experience growth in a way that is meaningful to you.
I work with adults navigating anxiety, stress, self-esteem concerns, depression, and the impact of trauma. I offer a supportive, nonjudgmental space to explore thoughts, emotions, and patterns with honesty and curiosity.
My approach integrates CBT and DBT to build practical coping skills, improve emotional regulation, and strengthen communication, while also incorporating Jungian-oriented insight to deepen self-understanding and meaning.
My goal is to help clients feel more grounded, self-aware, and empowered, supporting lasting change, clarity, and emotional balance.
Hi! I am a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with a Master's in Counseling Psychology with a specialty in somatic, or body-oriented, psychology. I also have a Master's in Creative Writing, and lived as a lay monk in a Zen monastery in Japan. I help motivated young and middle-aged adults who tend to live "in their heads" become more composed, resilient, and effective in living according to their values. This is a problem common to folks with relationship challenges, PTSD, dissociation, anxiety, and mood disorders.

Welcome! I’m Niekachi Nwogu, Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW #85265) based in California. I provide compassionate, culturally responsive mental health services to individuals navigating a range of life experiences and transitions.
With over a decade of clinical experience, I have worked across diverse settings, including schools, crisis intervention programs, high-acuity treatment centers, and leadership roles. My clinical approach is grounded in empathy, cultural humility, and person-centered care, and I integrate evidence-based modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance & Commitment Therapy, and other interventions tailored to each client’s needs and goals.
A core focus of my work is supporting individuals within diaspora communities. As a second-generation immigrant, I understand the emotional complexity of navigating life between cultures, including identity development, acculturation stress, intergenerational dynamics, and feelings of isolation or disconnection. I am deeply committed to providing a space where these experiences can be explored with understanding, validation, and care.
I also specialize in supporting adults through life transitions and stressors, such as starting or changing careers, academic pressures, relocation, family challenges, loss, and increased responsibilities. I work with clients who may feel overwhelmed by change, uncertainty, or competing demands, and who are seeking greater clarity, stability, and confidence in moving forward. I believe that while life transitions can be challenging, they also hold the potential for growth, resilience, and meaningful transformation with the right support.
My goal is to create a safe, affirming, and collaborative space where clients feel seen, heard, and empowered to grow into their fullest selves. You are worthy of that space and support.
Outside of my practice, I enjoy planning travel adventures, enjoying a latte with a good book, spending time with loved ones, relaxing at the spa, and attending Broadway shows and musicals.
