New to Grow
I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with 9 years of experience working with adults who struggle with anxiety, depression, stress, and life transitions. I provide a supportive, non-judgmental space where clients can explore their thoughts, emotions, and challenges at their own pace. My therapeutic approach is collaborative and grounded in evidence-based practices, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and mindfulness-based techniques. I help clients understand patterns that keep them feeling stuck, develop practical coping skills, and build emotional flexibility so they can respond to life’s challenges with greater confidence and clarity. I believe therapy should feel both supportive and empowering. My goal is to help clients gain insight, strengthen resilience, and make meaningful changes that align with their values and improve overall well-being.
In our first session together, here's what you can expect
During our first session, we will focus on getting to know you and understanding what brings you to therapy. I will ask about your current concerns, relevant history, and what you hope to gain from therapy, while also answering any questions you may have. We will move at a comfortable pace, and there is no pressure to share more than you are ready to. By the end of the session, we will begin identifying goals and next steps so you leave with a sense of clarity and direction.
The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions
My greatest strengths include creating a safe, supportive space where clients feel heard and understood, while also offering practical, evidence-based tools for change. With 9 years of experience, I am skilled at helping clients identify patterns that contribute to anxiety, depression, and trauma, and guiding them toward healthier ways of coping. I balance compassion with structure, helping clients gain insight, build resilience, and make meaningful progress at a pace that feels manageable and empowering.
The clients I'm best positioned to serve
My ideal clients are adults seeking individual therapy for anxiety, depression, trauma, stress, or life transitions who feel overwhelmed or stuck. Many are high-functioning individuals looking for practical tools to better manage emotions and daily challenges. I work best with clients who are open to self-reflection and value supportive, evidence-based therapy to build resilience, emotional balance, and meaningful change.
Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)
I use CBT to help clients recognize negative thought patterns and build practical tools for healthier thinking and emotional balance.
Acceptance and commitment (ACT)
I use ACT to help clients accept difficult thoughts and emotions while focusing on values-based actions. This approach supports psychological flexibility and helps clients move forward without being controlled by distress.
Mindfulness-Based Therapy
I use mindfulness practices to help clients increase awareness of thoughts, emotions, and body sensations. This approach supports emotional regulation, reduces stress, and helps clients respond more calmly to challenges.
