Hi, I’m Mattie. I’m a therapist who works with high-achieving individuals and creatives, people who are driven, successful on the outside, but often feel stuck, disconnected, or burnt out underneath it all. I help clients who are tired of just talking about their problems and are ready to actually see change. My approach is results-oriented and practical, but still deeply human, blending insight, structure, and emotional depth to help you feel more grounded, fulfilled, and connected to yourself and others.
Our first session is about getting to know each other. I’ll take time to learn about your history, what’s been weighing on you, and what you’d like to get out of therapy. At the same time, you’ll get a feel for me and my style so we can decide if we’re the right fit.
I’m trained in a range of evidence-based modalities, from CBT and DBT to EMDR, somatic work, and parts work. But I don’t believe therapy is one-size-fits-all. Every person is different, and what works for one client may not work for another. My goal is to tailor our sessions to you, your personality, your goals, and what you’ve already tried. I draw from different approaches to find what will help you reach lasting results the fastest, in a way that feels natural and effective for you.
I work with high-achieving individuals and creatives who are feeling burnt out, anxious, or stuck in cycles of overthinking. Many of my clients are juggling demanding careers, relationships, and a desire to feel more fulfilled; but don’t know how to slow down without losing their edge. Together, we work on reducing stress, improving relationships, and finding a sense of balance that actually lasts.
I use EMDR to help clients process unresolved memories, trauma, and negative beliefs that still impact their relationships, confidence, and self-worth. Through guided bilateral stimulation, we reduce the emotional charge of past events so you can respond to the present with more clarity, ease, and self-trust.
I use somatic therapy to help clients reconnect with their bodies, release tension, and regulate emotions stored physically. This approach builds awareness of how anxiety, stress, and past experiences show up in the body, so you can feel calmer, more grounded, and in control during dating, intimacy, and everyday life.
I use CBT to help clients identify and change the unhelpful thought patterns that drive anxiety, avoidance, or low confidence. We work together to replace self-defeating beliefs with realistic, empowering perspectives — so you can take action, communicate effectively, and create the relationships and life you want.
