Do you ever feel overwhelmed or stuck in the same relationship patterns? Life can bring emotional and mental challenges that leave us feeling lost, disconnected, or unsure of what to do next. My goal is to help you make sense of what’s happening, deepen your understanding of yourself, and find healthier ways to move through difficult moments. For over 20 years, I’ve worked with adults who feel tired of always putting others first. Together, we’ll explore what may be keeping you stuck and work toward greater clarity, confidence, and direction—so you can build relationships, and a life, that feel more authentic and fulfilling.
During our first session, we’ll take time to talk about what brings you to therapy and answer any questions you may have about the process. We’ll explore your background, including family dynamics and any relevant medical or personal history, and discuss what you hope to gain from counseling. This first meeting is an opportunity for us to get to know each other and begin understanding the challenges you’re facing. Together, we’ll start identifying goals and how therapy can best support you moving forward.
I have extensive experience supporting clients from diverse backgrounds, including many from Asian and immigrant communities, who are navigating complex cultural expectations, family dynamics, and pressures to be perfect. In our work together, we’ll gently explore these patterns while developing practical tools to help you set healthier boundaries, build confidence, and treat yourself with greater self-compassion.
Many of the clients I work with are Asian adults, adult children of immigrant parents, and individuals who have spent years taking care of others while neglecting their own emotional needs and feeling stuck in patterns they don't fully understand. They may struggle with anxiety, perfectionism, people-pleasing, self-criticism, or difficulty setting boundaries. Others find themselves repeatedly entering unhealthy relationships, avoiding conflict, or feeling responsible for everyone else's happiness. Some carry a deep sense of guilt whenever they prioritize their own needs. These patterns rarely develop without reason.

CBT is a powerful, results-oriented approach that helps reduce anxiety and depression. I use it with my clients to create meaningful, lasting change by identifying and shifting patterns such as self-blame, perfectionism, and negative thinking. It’s a practical, empowering tool that helps you break free from unhelpful beliefs and move forward with greater clarity and confidence.
Attachment-based therapy looks at the connection between early attachment experiences with primary caregivers and ability to develop and form healthy relationships as an adult. It is helpful to revisit some learned behaviors and beliefs to empower you to keep some or replace them.

Her analogies helped a lot to grasp certain concepts.

Connection isn't good. A Lot of technical issues on the Provider side. I am very impatient and maybe this is the Universe telling me this Provider is not a right fit for me.

I had a positive experience with my therapist. She is friendly and warm, which made it easy for me to feel comfortable opening up. I especially appreciate how she focuses on the present—it helps me stay grounded. The time went by so quickly that one hour didn’t feel like enough, which says a lot about how helpful and engaging the 1st session was. I’m looking forward to seeing her again next week.
