(she/her)
Do you ever feel overwhelmed or stuck in the same relationship patterns? Life can bring emotional and mental challenges that leave us feeling lost, disconnected, or unsure of what to do next. My goal is to help you make sense of what’s happening, deepen your understanding of yourself, and find healthier ways to move through difficult moments. For over 20 years, I’ve worked with men and women who are tired of always putting others first. Together, we’ll explore what’s keeping you stuck and work toward greater clarity, confidence, and direction—so you can build relationships, and a life, that feel more authentic and fulfilling.
During our first session, we’ll take time to talk about what brings you to therapy and answer any questions you may have about the process. We’ll explore your background, including family dynamics and any relevant medical or personal history, and discuss what you hope to gain from counseling. This first meeting is an opportunity for us to get to know each other and begin understanding the challenges you’re facing. Together, we’ll start identifying goals and how therapy can best support you moving forward.
For over 20 years, I’ve supported clients—especially those from Asian and immigrant backgrounds—through some of life’s most challenging moments. Many of the people I work with struggle with feelings of shame, guilt, or pressure to be perfect, often rooted in cultural expectations and family dynamics. In our work together, we’ll gently explore these experiences while developing practical tools to help you set healthier boundaries, build confidence, and treat yourself with greater self-compassion.
Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)
CBT is a powerful, results-oriented approach that helps reduce anxiety and depression. I use it with my clients to create meaningful, lasting change by identifying and shifting patterns such as self-blame, perfectionism, and negative thinking. It’s a practical, empowering tool that helps you break free from unhelpful beliefs and move forward with greater clarity and confidence.
Attachment-based
Attachment-based therapy looks at the connection between early attachment experiences with primary caregivers and ability to develop and form healthy relationships as an adult. It is helpful to revisit some learned behaviors and beliefs to empower you to keep some or replace them.
