Hello and welcome! My name is Letitia Obot, and I am a licensed clinical therapist. Life can be challenging, overwhelming and sometimes we need support navigating through the ups and downs, the changes happening in our lives and help to face the unknown. Reaching out for help is not always easy, I'd like to take a moment to acknowledge and honor your courage to reach out for help. As a therapist, my focus is working together to facilitate healing and meet your individual therapeutic needs and goals. I am experienced in utilizing different treatment methods such as CBT, DBT, Solution Focused, Mindfulness base approach to identify unhelpful thoughts and patterns of behaviors, develop practical strategies, and learn new skills/techniques to overcome challenges.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

In our first session together, we'll start with brief introductions, then dive into the specific challenges you're facing. This will help me create a tailored plan for us to work through in follow-up sessions.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

Having worked with individuals struggling with anxiety, depression and mood disorders, I've developed a tried-and-true playbook for helping you (a) identify the root cause of your challenges and (b) create a tailored plan that leads to measurable progress.

My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

I use CBT to help individuals recognize automatic negative beliefs, unhelpful thought patterns/behaviors and explore practical strategies to change and improve their mental health.

Dialectical Behavior (DBT)

I use different DBT techniques such as acceptance and TIPP and mindfulness to help individuals to accept the reality of their lives and behaviors while helping them to change their lives.

Solution Focused Brief Treatment

I use SFBT to help individuals develop action plans to overcome challenges by identifying and leaning into their strengths, past successes and future goals.

Acceptance and commitment (ACT)

I use ACT to help individuals learn and develop healthier relations with their thoughts and feelings.
