I am a licensed marriage and family therapist (LMFT) who is bilingual in Spanish and English, with a primary focus on conducting therapy in Spanish. As a woman, mother, and wife, I deeply believe in the inherent value, love, and potential of each individual. I hold a strong belief in the infinite love of God for all of us, and I am a firm advocate for the possibility of change. I have witnessed the transformative journeys of my clients and recognize the power within each person to grow and thrive.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

I always begin with an introductory session, where you'll have the chance to share your story and what you hope to achieve through therapy. I approach each client's pain, loss, or trauma with empathy and compassion. I am passionate about my profession and strive to give my best in every session. My goal is to encourage my clients to be proactive and inspire positive changes from our very first appointment.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

As a therapist, I pride myself on my active listening skills and my focus on the individual needs of each client. I promote self-love, self-respect, creativity, courage, and self-esteem, while fostering empathy and recognizing the unique strengths and character of each person. I believe that everyone has the potential to "add color, dreams, hope to their life" and to rewrite their best version, deserving of respect and love.

Describe the client(s) you are best positioned to serve.

I am best positioned to serve women or men who find themselves struggling with low self-esteem, often rooted in past or ongoing experiences of emotional, psychological, or physical abuse. Many of the women I work with are survivors of domestic violence and are now navigating the complex path of reclaiming their voice, autonomy, and sense of worth. These clients may also hold themselves to extremely high standards—perfectionists who feel overwhelmed, exhausted, or disconnected from their own needs while trying to meet the expectations of others. They often appear competent and high-functioning on the outside, but internally, they may feel anxious, depleted, or stuck in cycles of self-criticism and self-doubt.

My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) is a core part of my therapeutic approach, and I’ve used it for more than 5 years in my practice and effectively with clients experiencing a wide range of issues, including anxiety, depression, OCD, stress-related disorders, and others. My experience with CBT involves both structured, manualized interventions and more flexible, client-centered adaptations.

Gestalt

As a therapist, my experience using the Gestalt treatment method has been both rewarding and transformative—for my clients and for myself. Gestalt therapy emphasizes awareness, presence, and the here-and-now experience, which aligns with my belief that healing begins with a deep understanding of one’s current thoughts, feelings, and behaviors.
