I am focused on helping you through any part of your motherhood journey, and being a safe place for you to explore your current issues. I want to empower you to be the best version of yourself, with the overall goal of gaining hope and confidence to improve your quality of life.
Your present circumstances don't determine where you go; they merely determine where you start. -Nido Qubein I take a whole person and collaborative approach to therapy, catering therapy to the individual sitting in front of me. My specialties are in the field of grief and loss. Grief is not just bereavement, it is also the loss of a job, a relationship or a dream.
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) and am based in California. I received my Masters of Social Work from the University of Southern California. Hello, my name is Charity a dedicated Marriage and Family Therapist committed to fostering a safe and caring environment for individuals, couples and families. I have worked with a diverse range of clients, including individuals, couples, and families. I’m Alexandra Irish, an LMFT and LPC with over a decade of experience working in the mental health field and six years of experience as a therapist. Throughout my career, I have had the opportunity to work with individuals from diverse backgrounds and with a wide range of needs, including individuals involved in mental health and drug court programs, high school students, veterans, and clients in private practice.
Over the past three years, I have focused on building my private practice with the goal of creating a therapeutic environment where clients feel supported, understood, and empowered to make meaningful changes in their lives.
I started my private practice to create greater balance for my family while continuing to pursue my passion for providing compassionate, high-quality mental health care. I believe that therapy is a collaborative process, and I strive to create a safe, welcoming space where clients can feel comfortable being themselves and working toward the life they want.
Sometimes, as adults, we discover that our ability to make decisions; to love someone; to accept the love of another; to feel peace and inner calm; to find the motivation to accomplish goals; to forgive a betrayal; and to experience self-acceptance and confidence can feel limited, creating distress and discomfort. Thus begins the journey of an examined life. When you explore how you operate, what influences your choices, and what has contributed to your experiences, you begin the process of enriching your internal resources. This expansion of resources broadens your choices and options in life and holds the potential for higher functioning and greater happiness.
As a therapist, I provide a safe, comfortable, and nonjudgmental environment. I am easy to talk to, interactive, respectfully direct, and mindful of diverse cultures, backgrounds, and sexual orientations. I work collaboratively with my clients to set goals and utilize each individual’s strengths and resources, supporting the discovery of an authentic self that experiences life in a richer and more satisfying way.
Are you ready to embark on a journey of self-discovery, growth, and lasting change? I am here to support you every step of the way. With a unique blend of compassion and practicality, I create a safe and nurturing space for you to explore your inner world, set achievable goals, and harness your true potential. Guided by a holistic perspective, I recognize that your journey towards authenticity and empowerment encompasses every aspect of your being – mind, body, and spirit.
25 years experience. I see everybody and I love kids. My approach is psychodynamic rather than cognitive behavioral. Glad to explain the difference to you if you don’t know those terms. I generally see people over a period of at least a few years. And former patients say that they appreciate the results we get.

Whole-Hearted Therapy Centered on Genuine Connection. Ever had therapy that feels like it drags on without any results? Research shows the Power of Connection drives roughly 60% of Therapeutic Success. My Compassionate Therapy Style focuses on Building Bridges of Trust and cultivating a meaningful connection with positive outcomes.
So, how do you find the best therapist for you? That's a great question. And it's one that most people struggle with answering whether it's their first or umpteenth search. Is it the therapist him/herself, their personality, theoretical approach, or specialty? While all these factors are important, it shouldn't be your responsibility to find the best clinician; rather it's the clinician's responsibility to become the best therapist for you.
I also have a particular interest in using holistic practices to help create great results for depression & anxiety disorders as well as trauma/PTSD and other mental/behavioral conditions. These include EFT Tapping, breathing/mindfulness/meditation, and Amino Acids, etc.
I'm a Licensed Clinical Social Worker/Addiction Counselor with nearly nine years of extensive professional experience in both mental health and addiction. Further, I have a personal background in overcoming addictions as well as several mental health and learning disabilities.

I’m someone who believes that healing doesn’t happen in isolation—it happens in relationships where we feel safe enough to be real. As a therapist, I show up with warmth, honesty, and deep respect for your story. I’m especially drawn to working with people who’ve had to hold it all together for others, often at the expense of themselves. If you grew up feeling unseen, like you had to shrink yourself to stay safe or lovable, you’re not alone—and you don’t have to keep doing it that way.
In our work together, I’ll meet you with curiosity and compassion. I’m here to help you understand where your patterns come from, reconnect with the parts of yourself that got buried, and figure out what healing actually looks like for you. There’s no pressure to be perfect—just space to be honest, explore what matters, and feel a little more free.
Hi, I’m Shant Bardakjian, an LMFT based in Pasadena, CA, providing telehealth to adults across California. If you are navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, or the chaos of major life transitions, you don't have to carry this alone.
I specialize in transforming internal chaos into lasting relief. I view your challenges through a compassionate, person-centered lens, tailoring my tools to what you need in the moment:
• CBT & Mindfulness: To quiet anxiety and depression and ground your mind.
• Narrative Therapy: To creatively untangle past trauma and rewrite your future.
• Solution-Focused Therapy: To build practical, actionable strategies for immediate relief.
Finding the right therapist is about connection. With over 12 years of clinical experience and navigating my own life trials, I bring a deeply honed intuition and a calm, kind, and highly approachable presence to every session.
I don't just sit back and nod. I look past the surface to track unspoken patterns. I am gentle and supportive, but also direct when it serves your growth—kindly holding up a mirror to challenge old habits. This balance ensures our sessions are safe, honest, and effective, translating insights into tangible improvements in your everyday life and relationships.
Our first session is simply a low-pressure, comfortable chat. It feels a bit different from future sessions because it's a gentle, zero-pressure space to learn your history and see the big picture. We move entirely at your pace, and you only share what you are ready to tell me. My goal is for you to leave feeling deeply heard, a little lighter, and confident that you have a trusted guide.
I’m Allan, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who believes therapy—especially for kids—doesn’t have to mean sitting on a couch talking about feelings for 50 minutes. Sometimes the best conversations happen over LEGOs, games, art, play, or while doing something that makes it easier to simply be yourself. Online, it could mean processing trauma, playing online therapeutic games with children (or adults if you want to).
I especially enjoy working with children and teens, including kids who are anxious, overwhelmed, navigating trauma, struggling with big emotions or behaviors, or having a hard time putting what’s happening inside into words. I use play, creativity, humor, and evidence-based approaches to build connection and help kids develop skills without therapy feeling like another place where adults are telling them what to do.
I also work with adults navigating trauma, mood concerns, relationships, identity, major life changes, and life’s more complicated chapters. My style is warm, humorous, direct, and genuinely human. I draw from DBT, EMDR, Trauma-Focused CBT, play-based interventions, Theraplay-informed practices, narrative therapy, and trauma-informed care, adapting therapy to the person in front of me rather than expecting them to adapt to therapy.
My professional experience includes inpatient psychiatry, juvenile justice, child welfare, family services, and community mental health, so I’m comfortable working with both everyday struggles and situations that feel especially complicated.
Whether we meet in my Eureka office or online, my goal is to create a space where you—or your child—feel safe, understood, and comfortable showing up exactly as you are. My practice is LGBTQIA+ and gender-diverse affirming and neurodiversity-affirming.
And yes, there are credentials behind the LEGOs.

I utilize a variety of evidence-based therapeutic approaches to help clients build insight, strengthen resilience, and move toward meaningful and lasting change.

In our sessions, you can expect a nonjudgmental and compassionate space where we use evidenced based techniques to help you get through and gain strategies for your challenges. I look forward to working with you.
Welcome! I’m Lanelle P. Laws, LMFT.
For over 20 years, I’ve had the privilege of helping people navigate trauma, incarceration, depression, anxiety, and LGBTQ+ identity. My passion is empowering individuals to build self-esteem, reclaim their voice, and thrive.
I offer a warm, non-judgmental, comfortable, and encouraging environment grounded in a BIPOC-centered approach. What makes my work different is that I bring both professional expertise and lived experience. I understand what it means to need help and not always feel seen, understood, or represented within the mental health system.
I have dedicated my life to breaking generational cycles of trauma and bringing awareness to the experiences of underserved and marginalized communities. I believe healing begins with awareness...understanding our stories, recognizing our patterns, acknowledging our wounds, and discovering the strengths and power we already possess.
I always say, “I’m not your average therapist!” Not because I’m better, but because my approach has been elevated to reach individuals who may have fallen through the cracks or developed an unhealthy relationship with therapy. I believe therapy should be a space where you can be honest about where you’ve been, explore where you are, and become intentional about where you want to go.
I know what it feels like to need help and not always know where to find it. That understanding is at the heart of my work.
At Heal(Thy) Self Wellness, healing is more than getting through...it’s getting to know yourself, understand your story, and reclaim your power.
Know Your Story. Heal Your Wounds. Own Your Wellness.
Hi, I'm Cheri, a licensed marriage and family therapist in California. If you're stuck in a loop of intrusive thoughts, checking, or needing to feel certain, I know how exhausting that can be, and I help teens and adults find their way out of it.
The approach I use most is called Exposure and Response Prevention, or ERP. In everyday terms, we take small, manageable steps toward the things that scare you, without giving in to the urge to check or seek reassurance, so anxiety gradually loses its grip. I also draw on CBT, ACT, and mindfulness to help you feel steadier along the way.
Together, we'll build your comfort with uncertainty so you can spend less time managing fear and more time living the way you want to. Therapy with me is collaborative and practical, and we'll move at a pace that feels right for you.

These feelings are often when people turn to alcohol, drugs, food, shopping or relationships to try to create those feelings of happiness, contentment and joy. It can work for a short time however the key to moving forward is to understand the reasons we seek out these distractions.
When we strengthen the relationship with ourselves, the outer world becomes much more balanced and fulfilling. Through slowing down and reconnecting with our mind, body and spirit we can feel more confident to face life events with a more stable and hopeful core sense of self.

I am a trauma-focused therapist, certified in EMDR and trained in Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR), and Internal Family Systems (IFS) therapy. I’m originally from Southern California, the traditional homelands of the Tongva (Gabrielino) and Chumash peoples, and I’m now based in Colorado, on the ancestral lands of the Arapaho, Ute, and Cheyenne peoples. I offer virtual individual therapy to clients in both states.
I believe that each of us possesses an internal source of wisdom that can be cultivated through psychotherapy, psychedelic medicines, meditation practices, yoga and other connecting practices that link the brain, body and spirit.
My therapeutic approach is grounded in mindfulness, compassion, curiosity, and respect. I often draw from concepts rooted in Buddhist psychology and contemplative traditions. I frequently incorporate EMDR as an evidence-based method for working with both acute and developmental trauma, along with parts work (IFS). I am attentive to the impact of a person’s social, physical, and cultural environment, as well as systems of oppression. Clients describe my approach as warm, relational, collaborative, strengths-based, and trauma-informed.
I cannot do the work for you, but I can help you along the way, and it is truly an honor and a joy for me.

I have a school counseling credential and experience working with pre-k through 12th grade students, in both public and non public schools. My expertise is in helping clients with anxiety, stress, depression, family conflict, parenting issues, motivation, self-esteem, confidence, ADHD and Autism.
I believe in treating everyone with respect, sensitivity and compassion. I will tailor our dialog and treatment to meet your unique and specific needs. I am goal oriented, creating measurable action steps for clients to work on towards achieving their set goals. Goals will be created in a collaborative manner between therapist and client.
It takes courage to seek out a more fulfilling and healthier life and to take the first steps towards change. My goal is to support and empower you in that journey. I utilize a creative and collaborative approach, and I'm here to meet you where you're at.
Things you should know about my therapeutic approach:
-Goal oriented with use of action steps towards set goals.
-Collaborative with clients throughout treatment.
-Utilizes respect and empathy. Therapy is a judgement free zone.
-Provides psychoeducation.
-Creative treatment interventions that can include play-based therapy, art therapy, journaling, homework, and therapeutic games and activities. Interventions are chosen based on client need and interest.
-Evidence-based treatment and use of therapeutic modalities: CBT, DBT, ACT, person-centered and family therapy.
I’m a trauma-informed therapist who works with adults navigating anxiety, grief, and complex relationship dynamics. My approach is supportive, grounded, and tailored to your unique needs. I help clients better understand their emotional patterns, process difficult experiences, and build practical tools for lasting change. I also have experience supporting individuals impacted by domestic violence and veterans. I aim to create a space where you feel understood, supported, and able to move forward at your own pace.
You want to change your feelings, thoughts, or behaviors, but every time you try, it blows up in your face. (Not literally...hopefully.) How do you get unstuck?! The most important factor is the relationship with your therapist. My main focus is teaming up with you - not telling you what to do - in figuring out how to help you create new patterns.
My practice mostly revolves around increasing your awareness of what’s happening in your mind and your body – and above all, respecting your experience. My approach focuses on mindfulness, DBT-informed strategies, and post-traumatic growth. This takes work, but with the help of someone you trust, you absolutely can change the structure of your brain!
As much as I may be in the most privileged of demographics (see photo), I’ve taken a lifetime’s worth of feeling inferior and deployed it for good: Being able to empathize with you, the client. I've worked extensively with anger, grief, substance use, LGBTQ+-related issues, insomnia, racial identity, relationship issues, sports performance, etc.
I have an easygoing way of communicating with clients. My communication style definitely doesn't have that solemn, overly serious tone that you might see depicted in movie therapists. Just to forewarn: My sessions can and will include some (very lame) jokes here and there, but that does not mean I don't take your struggle seriously.
