Hello, I’m a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) dedicated to helping individuals and families navigate life’s challenges with compassion and support. I strive to create a safe, nonjudgmental space where clients feel heard, understood, and empowered to make meaningful changes in their lives. My approach is collaborative and tailored to each client’s unique needs, drawing from evidence-based practices to support emotional wellness, healthier relationships, and personal growth.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

In our first session, you will be welcomed into a relaxed environment where you can feel comfortable being yourself. I’ll introduce myself, invite your questions, then we’ll explore what brings you to therapy, your experiences, and what you hope to gain. It will feel much like two people having a genuine conversation.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

What stands out about my therapeutic approach is my ability to create a warm, supportive, and engaging environment where children, adolescents, teens, and adults feel safe to openly express themselves and work through challenges. I am especially passionate about supporting youth in strengthening their social-emotional health, building self-esteem, and developing healthy coping and communication skills. I work closely with families to improve parent-child relationships, reduce conflict, and foster stronger emotional connections within the home. I strive to help clients not only manage symptoms, but also build resilience, confidence, emotional awareness, and healthier relationships that support long-term growth and healing

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

I work alongside children, adolescent, teen and adult individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, parent-child conflicts, life transitions, and self-esteem issues. I am passionate about supporting youth and their families to increase social emotional health and strengthen the parent-child relationship. I am dedicated to creating a warm, compassionate, and empowering space where you can feel safe, supported, and understood. My approach to therapy is person-centered and humanistic, with care tailored to each individual. I value transparency, working collaboratively with you so you feel informed, supported, and actively involved in your growth.

My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

I have experience utilizing Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) with clients experiencing anxiety, depression, stress-related disorders, and maladaptive thought patterns. In my practice, I use CBT to help clients identify the connection between their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors, and to develop healthier coping strategies.

Person-centered (Rogerian)

I use this method to create a safe, supportive, and nonjudgmental environment where clients feel heard, valued, and empowered. I emphasize core Person-Centered principles such as empathy, unconditional positive regard, and genuineness. I strive to build strong therapeutic rapport by actively listening and allowing clients to guide the direction and pace of treatment. I often use reflective listening, validation, open-ended questioning, and emotional processing techniques to help clients gain insight and develop confidence in their decision-making and coping abilities.

Play Therapy

In my practice, I use Play Therapy techniques when working with children and adolescents to help them express emotions, process experiences, and develop healthy coping skills. I utilize a variety of play therapy approaches and tools, including creative arts, role-playing, storytelling, games, puppets, and emotion-identification exercises. These interventions help children explore feelings, improve problem-solving skills, strengthen emotional regulation, and work through behavioral or social challenges in a safe and supportive environment. I understand that children often communicate more effectively through play than through direct verbal discussion, and I use play-based interventions to build trust, encourage emotional expression, and support therapeutic progress.
