Hello my name is Virginia Myricks, LMFT and my goal is to encourage, challenge and empower you to uncover your true potential and lead a life that is worth celebrating. While we can't change difficult situations, we can work together to better understand and resolve challenges in your life. I understand that every individual struggles with life challenges in their own unique way and it would be my pleasure to work with you on identifying your goals, offering treatment interventions that are best suited to your individual needs and to assist you in experiencing a more fulfilling and meaningful life.
Our first session will focus on an intake, which allows me to introduce myself and learn about you and the specific challenges you are experiencing in your life. We will discuss treatment goals and work collaboratively to begin the process of change.
I have 18 years of experience as a behavioral health care provider and have worked with a full range of clients and life experiences.
I am open and available to work with any client who is looking to achieve positive change in their lives.

Great first session with Virginia. I really enjoyed the structure of our time together. She was attentive, kind, and very insightful. Within the first 30 minutes she even helped me with a bit of reframing. We scheduled our next few sessions. Feeling grateful.

After frustrating experiences with passive therapists who let me meander alone, finding someone intelligent and authentic is refreshing. A listening ear is fine, but it doesn't change lifelong behaviors. I need actionable strategies and real input. She has the courage to tell me the truth and challenge me when a direction doesn't make sense, while acknowledging that I know myself as she helps me understand myself better. I really appreciate her direct, proactive approach.
