Hello my name is Virginia Myricks, LMFT and my goal is to encourage, challenge and empower you to uncover your true potential and lead a life that is worth celebrating. While we can't change difficult situations, we can work together to better understand and resolve challenges in your life. I understand that every individual struggles with life challenges in their own unique way and it would be my pleasure to work with you on identifying your goals, offering treatment interventions that are best suited to your individual needs and to assist you in experiencing a more fulfilling and meaningful life.
In our first session together, here's what you can expect
Our first session will focus on an intake, which allows me to introduce myself and learn about you and the specific challenges you are experiencing in your life. We will discuss treatment goals and work collaboratively to begin the process of change.

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)
CBT helps to challenge reoccurring thoughts, feelings and behaviors that create problems in your life. We’ll use CBT to recognize how your thoughts, feelings, and behaviors influence each other and help you to improve how you relate to your emotional experiences.

Virginia and I have only been talking for a couple of months, but her warmth, understanding & knowledge has already led me to have many breakthroughs. Speaking with Virginia feels like a much needed exhale. I have never felt any kind of judgement from her... she is solution oriented & has been empowering me to be the best version of myself. Virginia really took the time to get to know me and why I was coming into therapy. She asked a lot of great questions and pointed out something that was right in front of my face, but I never really saw. Great first meeting. Trying out other therapist, but might come back to her.
