LMFT, 10 years of experience
New to Grow
As a LMFT, it’s important for me to hold space and meet clients where they are. I will walk with you along your journey, while also making sure we do not avoid the hard stuff. I blend evidence-based tools with deep empathy. I will ask questions that will encourage you to explore and process feelings, while also helping you to reframe and rewrite the stories that no longer serve you.
Our first session will be us getting to know one another. I will also be sure to explain limits of confidentiality, and begin to discuss what you, the client is expecting to receive from therapy. I’m interested in your goals. Our first session will consist of a lot of questions, as we are creating the treatment plan and exploring what you are seeking as we move through this therapeutic relationship.
I have practiced as a clinician for approximately 10 years, having experience in various areas. I have had the ability to build therapeutic rapport and communicate to clients a deep sense of genuine care and support.
The ideal client for me is open to the process; ready and willing to begin the healing journey while navigating life transitions, are open to doing the inner work and who are ultimately tired of doing it alone.
I utilize DBT skills to validate the feelings of clients while also creating a non-judgmental space. I assist individuals with id identifying and labeling emotions and improving interpersonal relationships.
I’ve supported clients with focusing on a specific goal and building solutions rather than focusing on the problem. While using this intervention, we focus on strengths, beginning with small steps, and remembering that the client is the expert.
I’ve created safe spaces where clients could improve communication, learn and practice healthy ways to manage conflict, align goals and deepen emotional intimacy.
I support clients with learning to separate the problem from themselves. Labeling the problem and rewriting their narrative.
