Hi I am a Licensed Psychologist based in California since 2020. I received my Master's in Counseling Psychology in 2015 from Argosy University. I also completed my Psy.D in Clinical Psychology in 2022. My goal as a therapist is to create a supportive space where my clients can be brave with their feelings and be the best version of themselves. This sets the stage for meaningful and long-lasting change. I tailor my treatment based on my client’s individual needs, situation, and life goals. I aspire to guide clients of all ages to build the skills they need to cope with past, current, or future stresses.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

In our first session we will be starting the process of getting to know each other, and working as a team to identify what you'd want to get out of therapy. Whether you're new to therapy or have worked with a therapist before it helps guide and enrich our future work and easing into our future working relationship!

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

My greatest strength as a provider is being proactive about looking at this process of eventually "working my self out of a job" and helping clients not only build skills for the short term, but maintaining them for life.

My treatment methods

Eclectic

I utilize an eclectic approach that integrates a mix of interventions of CBT, DBT, and Schema therapy approaches depending on the presenting concern and client. To be the most helpful I find a healthy mix tends to be the most helpful in meeting client goals.

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

I like to integrate use of CBT, whether through interventions, visuals, worksheets, and strategies in tackling mental health concerns and many goals!

Dialectical Behavior (DBT)

I don't utilize every aspect of DBT, but I do like to utilize DBT interventions in tolerating stress and managing high intensity emotions in the moment.

Mind-body approach

I am a big proponent of integrating awareness of the mind and body in not only helping with coping with the stresses of life, but improved quality of life.

Schema Therapy

I am a fan of schema therapy because it integrates a combination of CBT, attachment, and relational elements that feels more comprehensive and integrating the many different parts of all of our lives.
