Are you struggling with anxiety, depression, a new life transition, or struggling to cope with the weight of your problems daily? I can help you find a way forward and offer you the tools to tap into the inner strength that you possess. I believe in approaching therapy from a warm, genuine, and validating perspective and often use humor to help my clients get “unstuck” from unhelpful thinking patterns. My job is to be your mirror to see what is already there: infinite wisdom.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

In our first session, we will start with brief introductions and some background (this goes quicker if all paperwork has been completed). We will then dive into the specific challenges you are facing. This will help us create a tailored plan for the following follow-up sessions.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

Having worked with adults for the last 23 years, I have developed a tried and true playbook for helping you (a) identify the root cause of your challenges and (b) create a tailored plan that leads to measurable progress.

Describe the client(s) you are best positioned to serve.

I love working with adults from 18 years old to 199 years old! It does not matter the age, we can all learn and grow and feel better! I utilize a variety of approaches, including Cognitive Behavior Therapy, Acceptance, and Mindfulness-Based, to help my clients increase awareness and gain a deeper insight into the sources of their anxiety and depression.

My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

I believe that our thoughts impact how we perceive the world, and often they are very harmful, and this affects our interactions with the world and those close to us. I work with clients to first recognize this is an issue and then gently replace the negative thoughts with more positive ones, which improve how you feel and interact with others they care about. And, by the way, you feel so much better!
