I hold a deep passion for walking alongside and encouraging others as they overcome life's hardest challenges. For those looking to weave their faith into the healing process, I practice as a faith-based therapist—combining proven, evidence-based clinical interventions with a grounded biblical worldview.

I hold a deep passion for walking alongside and encouraging others as they overcome life's hardest challenges.

I provide individual counseling to help you navigate anxiety, panic disorder, depression, bipolar disorders, daily stress, relationship struggles, and the lasting impact of childhood trauma, supporting you as you move toward lasting hope and emotional resilience.

First session

During our first session, my main focus is simply to listen, ask thoughtful questions, and learn your story. I want to understand who you are, what brought you to seek support right now, and how your values shape your perspective. From there, we will explore what meaningful progress looks like for you and collaborate on a personalized treatment plan tailored to your goals—helping you step forward with clarity and confidence.

Strengths

I will walk alongside you as you navigate the challenges you are facing right now. Because every person's journey is unique, I tailor each session to your specific needs—drawing from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), psychodynamic and narrative therapy, mindfulness, problem-solving, and interpersonal techniques. Together, we will pair these proven approaches with your spiritual foundation to help you uncover deeper patterns, reshape your personal story, and move forward with clarity, resilience, and hope.

Ideal clients

You don’t have to leave your spiritual beliefs at the door to get the clinical support you need. Whether you are navigating heavy seasons of depression, overwhelming anxiety, panic attacks, or the lasting effects of childhood trauma, healing is possible. I specialize in helping individuals work through major life transitions, daily stress, and relationship challenges by combining evidence-based therapy with a deep respect for your faith. Together, we will create a safe, non-judgmental space where your spiritual values serve as a source of strength and guidance, helping you find clarity, emotional relief, and lasting peace.

Origin story

My path to becoming a therapist began during my time as a foster care social worker, where the limits of my role left me longing to walk more deeply alongside people in their mental and emotional healing. That desire led me to community mental health, where I built a strong clinical foundation, and later into group private practice, where I honed my focus on helping clients overcome panic attacks, trauma, anxiety, and depression. To further deepen the support I offer, I earned my Certified Clinical Anxiety Treatment Professional (CCATP) credential in 2021—bringing both specialized clinical expertise and genuine compassion to every session.

Ongoing work together

In our ongoing work together, sessions will be a collaborative, supportive space where we pair practical, evidence-based tools with your faith and personal values. Rather than just talking through problems, we will actively build skills to quiet anxious thoughts, process past wounds, and navigate life's challenges with resilience. You will know you are making progress as those heavy emotions begin to feel more manageable—noticing fewer panic spikes, healthier boundaries in your relationships, and a deeper sense of peace and alignment in your daily life.

Treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

In my practice, I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to help you notice and reshape the unhelpful thought patterns that fuel anxiety, panic, and low mood. Together, we will gently examine the beliefs driving your stress and test them against reality—and, when desired, against biblical truth. By replacing overwhelming, distorted thoughts with grounded, life-giving perspectives and practical coping habits, you will gain clear tools to respond to daily triggers with greater peace, self-compassion, and confidence.

Dialectical Behavior (DBT)

Through Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), I help you build practical, real-time skills to steady intense emotions, tolerate distressing moments, and navigate relationships with grace. Together, we will practice mindfulness, emotional regulation, and healthy communication—balancing self-compassion with meaningful, actionable change. When paired with your faith, these tools create a grounded anchor during overwhelming seasons, helping you respond thoughtfully rather than react out of panic or hurt.

Narrative

Using narrative therapy, I help you separate your true identity from the painful chapters, struggles, or labels you have carried. Together, we will explore the stories you have come to believe about yourself through past trauma, anxiety, or hardship, and gently re-author them with truth and compassion. When viewed alongside your faith, this process invites you to see your life through a lens of grace and redemption—empowering you to step out of shame and move forward with purpose and hope.

Interpersonal

Through Interpersonal Therapy (IPT), we focus on how your relationships, life transitions, and social connections directly impact your emotional well-being. Whether you are navigating grief, role changes, or ongoing relational conflict, we will work together to strengthen your communication, clarify expectations, and build healthier patterns of connection. Grounded in your faith and values, this approach helps you cultivate deeper, more supportive relationships while easing the stress, anxiety, and isolation that often accompany interpersonal struggles.

Psychodynamic

Through psychodynamic therapy, I help you gently explore how past experiences, early relationships, and deeper emotional patterns continue to shape how you feel and connect today. Often, the roots of ongoing anxiety, relationship struggles, or feeling stuck lie beneath the surface—and bringing them into the light allows true healing to begin. Paired with the grace and truth of your faith, this deeper self-awareness helps you release old emotional weight, break free from painful cycles, and step into healthier, more grounded relationships.
