Do you feel stuck, stressed, or disconnected from the people you love? Maybe past trauma, anxiety, or an addiction keeps pulling you back, or your relationship doesn't feel the way it used to. You don't have to figure it out alone. I'm a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in California and Texas, and since 2015 I've helped couples and adults heal, reconnect, and move forward.
I help couples rebuild trust, improve communication, and restore intimacy, whether you're recovering from infidelity or slowly drifting apart. I draw on proven approaches like the Gottman Method.
Addiction and recovery. With 10 years in addiction treatment, including residential programs, I understand how hard it is to break free from substance use or compulsive sexual behavior. I can help you build lasting recovery while repairing your relationships.
Trauma, anxiety, and depression. If past trauma is holding you back, you can move toward a brighter future. I'm trained in Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), mindfulness, and CBT-I for insomnia.
Before becoming a therapist, I worked in corporate America and ran my own businesses, so I understand the stress of balancing career and family. I've been married to my best friend for 33 years, raised two children, and am now a grandfather.
I offer in-person sessions at my office in Agoura Hills, near Thousand Oaks, Westlake Village, and Calabasas, and online therapy (telehealth) throughout California and Texas. [Call or email to schedule a free 15-minute consultation.]

As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker I provide evidence-based psychotherapy for individuals who may be feeling overwhelmed by anxiety, depression, mood-related concerns, or life transitions. I understand that reaching out for support can feel like a big step, and I strive to offer a warm, respectful, and collaborative therapeutic space. My approach is structured and goal-oriented, beginning with a comprehensive assessment to better understand your experiences, strengths, and needs. Together, we work to identify meaningful goals and develop a plan that supports lasting and positive change.
I bring extensive experience working with children, adolescents, and families navigating anxiety, depression, ADHD, and mood dysregulation. I began providing therapeutic services in 2009 in a school-based setting, supporting students through mental health interventions as part of their IEP services. Since 2018, I have worked in private practice with adolescents and adults, using evidence-based approaches such as Solution-Focused Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to help clients build practical skills and greater emotional balance.
I hold a Master’s degree from California State University, Long Beach, and completed my supervised clinical training through the Los Angeles Unified School District. My work focuses on building insight, strengthening coping skills, and applying evidence-based strategies to support improved functioning and overall well-being.

I work with high-functioning adults who look capable on the outside but are running on chronic survival mode underneath. Clients often reach out when hyper-preparation and control hit a wall; waking with 2 AM panic spirals, treating every uncertainty like an emergency, or crashing into shame and burnout. Using evidence-based trauma therapy and somatic grounding, we help you quiet the harsh inner critic, process deep-seated wounds, and retrain an overactive threat system. Together, we move you out of constant fight-or-flight so you can finally inhabit an ordinary, safe life without needing a crisis to survive.

In our work together, I tailor my approach to your unique needs, integrating evidence-based frameworks like Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) within a warm, humanistic foundation. Do you overthink, replay conversations, revisit past decisions, predict problems, spiral, or get stuck in patterns that create conflict or keep you avoiding what needs to be addressed?
You are thoughtful, observant, and more capable than you may currently feel. But the same mind that notices details, thinks ahead, and considers different possibilities can go into overdrive. You may feel on edge much of the time, dwell on the past, get irritated by small things, feel flat, or disconnect from things you once enjoyed. You may be going through this on your own or in a relationship with someone dealing with some of the same things.
You may avoid difficult conversations, put off issues, or end up in the same conflict. Shame, fear of rejection, or trouble communicating can make it difficult to say what you really think or need. We can work on skills to communicate better, explore the expectations you bring to relationships, and recognize roles and patterns you keep replaying. Those roles may have served you long ago, but they may need revision now.
I am Ramy Danon, a USC-trained Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with more than 20 years of experience. Therapy with me is a real conversation. I listen carefully, ask questions, and tell you honestly what I see. I work with men, women, and couples, and I adapt the work to what is really bothering you and what you actually want to address.
I also taught university and college students for 19 years. I love helping people recognize their abilities and expand what they believe is possible. I understand how difficult it can be to trust someone, especially if you struggle to ask for help. Getting started may be the hardest part. I am eager to learn about what is bothering you.

The goal in psychotherapy is for you to become your own therapist. We would achieve this in a collaborative and strategic manner. There has always been a need to address our emotional well being but until recent times, this topic is more accepted than ever to discuss. Not only do I help people address their problems, but I also aim to help people be self-actualizing.
Hi, I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in California. I received my Bachelor's in Psychology and Sociology at the University of Washington, as well as my Masters in Marriage and Family Therapy at Chapman University. I believe in guiding individuals towards their authentic selves and empowering them to live fulfilling lives. My goal is to help you identify your aspirations, overcome obstacles, and develop strategies to achieve your true potential.
I have been a licensed therapist for over 20 years. Currently licensed in California and Nevada. I understand that reaching out and starting the therapy process can be a little overwhelming in and of itself, so I strive to set a pace that is comfortable for my client. If you are ready to dive into the deep end, we will go there. If you need some time to ease into the hard work of therapy, we will go at a pace that feels comfortable. I see myself as a guide in the process of therapy and, at times, more of a teacher, sharing strategies and information. My goal as a therapist is to help you develop the resources and strategies to feel confident in your ability to handle life challenges. Sometimes that involves really getting in touch with the way you think and what you believe, or exploring how you are talking to yourself, or it might involve healing childhood wounds. Since each client is unique I use a variety of therapeutic techniques, I incorporate evidenced based strategies like Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and sometimes complimentary therapies such as Guided Imagery. I tend to be eclectic in my approach because each person is an individual, and there is no one-size-fits-all when it comes to resolving life issues.
With over a decade of clinical experience, I provide a grounded, client-centered approach to navigating complex life transitions. I earned my Master’s in Counseling Psychology from Cal-Poly Humboldt and have since dedicated my practice to helping individuals and families resolve deep-seated conflict. My work is focused on empowering you to master anxiety, improve communication, and navigate the specific nuances of men’s issues and relational dynamics.
Beyond the therapy room, I serve as Associate Faculty in Psychology. This role ensures that our work remains rooted in the latest developmental research and psychological science. I don’t view therapy as a passive process, but as a deliberate partnership designed to foster resilience and clarity.
I believe that every individual holds the expertise over their own life. My job isn't to rewrite your history, but to help you glean insights from it. Together, we move past the surface to uncover genuine passions and confront the challenges that stand in your way, transforming your personal trials into the foundation of your growth.
With over 20 years of experience, I specialize in supporting adults from diverse cultural and socio-economic backgrounds through a wide range of mental health challenges. My clinical focus includes working with individuals navigating depression, anxiety, attachment-related issues, adjustment disorders, and substance use. I am trained in evidence-based modalities including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Interpersonal Therapy (IPT), and Mindfulness-Based Interventions. I am committed to creating a safe, inclusive, and collaborative therapeutic environment that fosters growth and resilience.
I have extensive experience in working with a diverse population of individuals, including those struggling with substance abuse, dual diagnoses, codependency, trauma, and other mental health issues. I consider myself to be an assertive and direct psychologist who prioritizes effective communication, healthy boundaries, and self-care. My ultimate goal is to help people gain the insight and coping skills necessary to live meaningful lives filled with a positive sense of self and healthy relationships.
I consider myself to be a culturally sensitive psychologist who treats each client as a unique individual. I am an action-oriented psychologist that listens with empathy while helping the client gain insight into patterns of thoughts and behaviors that can be used to make healthy and meaningful changes in their lives.
If you are an individual who is motivated for positive change and self-growth, then I encourage you to reach out to me, as I would be honored to be a part of your journey. I believe that therapy is a collaborative approach in which the end goal is always in your best interest.

Hello,
I am a woman, mother, wife, daughter, aunt, and soon-to-be grandmother. The path to achieving my goal of becoming a Clinical Psychologist - Marriage and Family Therapist began when I had my sons. I took all the steps to build my career, beginning with attending a community college, LACC, where I earned an Associate Degree in Child Development, then a Bachelor's in Psychology, and a Master's Degree in Clinical Psychology from Antioch University Los Angeles. My interest and curiosity led me to a passionate career journey of helping people in different settings, with different upbringings and diverse family backgrounds, since 2010. I am bilingual; Spanish is my first language.
I am Karina Ramirez, a bilingual (Spanish/English) Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist dedicated to supporting individuals through life’s emotional and relational challenges. I offer a welcoming, supportive, and judgment-free space where clients can explore their experiences, build insight, and create meaningful change. My approach is grounded in evidence-based practices, empathy, and collaboration, with the goal of helping clients strengthen relationships, enhance self-understanding, and improve overall well-being
I was born in the US, but I was raised in Mexico. I lived in Tijuana for 10 years when my parents decided to move us across the border to Chula Vista, California. As a first-generation Mexican-American, I experienced a duality of cultures. I was often judged for either being “not Mexican enough” OR “not American enough.” I also faced enormous pressure to be successful – to justify my parents’ having left their beloved country so my sibling and I could have a better life. This is one of many reasons I decided to follow this path: to help those who feel alone in their journey. That’s how I felt when acculturating to this country.
I earned my Bachelor of Social Work (BSW) at San Diego State University (SDSU). I was going to go directly into the workforce and eventually go back for my master’s, but an awesome professor challenged me to apply right away so I wouldn’t lose momentum. So, that’s what I did. I ended up getting my Master of Social Work (MSW) at the University of Southern California. It took some time and courage to finish all my licensing requirements, but it was worth it! I’ve been licensed as a clinical social worker in California since 2019. I am certified in Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Trauma-Focused CBT.
I am an LCSW with 7 years experience looking to work with clients seeking to make a change in their mental health. I enjoy working with folks facing a variety of challenges, including experiencing depression, anxiety, family difficulties, parenting struggles or going through life transitions. I use a client centered approach and believe that every client has the capacity to make change in their life.
I’m a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist who helps adults navigate trauma, anxiety, relationship challenges, life transitions, and the pressure of carrying too much for too long. My approach is warm, honest, collaborative, and trauma-informed. I create a space where you can feel genuinely seen while also receiving practical tools that help you move forward. I integrate EMDR and other evidence-based approaches to help clients understand patterns, process painful experiences, strengthen relationships, and reconnect with who they are. You will find compassion in our sessions, but I will also gently challenge you when doing so supports your growth.

I try to provide a calm, nonjudgmental atmosphere for clients so they can feel free to say whatever is on their mind. Believe me when I say that if you've done a thing or thought about it, someone else has too. You are not alone.
