I am Dr. Audrey Levy. I live on a boat, and my private practice hours are available 24/7 by appointment only. I also make house calls. I am experienced in helping my clients deal with issues such as Anxiety, Depression, Stress Reduction, Loss and Grief Recovery, Substance Abuse, Anger Management and Crisis Counseling. I provide a calm, empathetic, and nurturing environment where you will feel heard, and most importantly, understood. Together we will work on ways to help you understand your feelings and compulsions. My grieving clients experience closure through writing letters to their loved ones who have died. This letter writing is effective for all forms of loss. Reading the letters aloud is very healing as it encourages acceptance, and permits moving on to build a life filled with love and laughter. As a Doctor of Psychology and psychotherapist for 45+ years, I've dealt with my own grief and loss by writing the nonfiction book, "Doggie Wisdom for Humans: Advice from Dogs for Humans of All Ages," and an autobiographical fiction series, "The Adventures of the Angel Oleo." I hope you have an opportunity to read my books and that I get to help you.

Hi there, I primarily work in substance use recovery (abstinence and harm reduction) and trauma recovery. I also have specialized training in treating anxiety, depression, and sleep issues/insomnia. My treatment orientation is based in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy concepts, however the foundation of my early training was Psychodynamic. I have been trained in Cognitive Processing Therapy, Prolonged Exposure, STAIR (Skills Training in Affective and Interpersonal Regulation), and Seeking Safety for trauma treatment. When treating anxiety, I take a CBT, or exposure approach with skill-building. For depression I utilize CBT concepts, or behavioral activation with skill-building. For sleep issues, I work with the CBT for insomnia treatment model. These are just a few examples of treatment approaches I utilize. I am relational focused, which to me means finding a plan that works best for you, practicing cultural humility and not trying to fit a round peg in a square hole. I look forward to working with you.

Everyone has a story and a unique voice. Let me help you find yours. I practice cultural competency, cultivating awareness of stagnant emotions through mindfulness, and exploring strengths and passions. I hope to fully support you during this moment in your life and help you meet your goals. I’m passionate about helping people become aware of the link between body and mind, as they work toward discovering their authentic selves. Sometimes, facilitating change can be overwhelming. I can help you through those times with evidenced-based therapies, including seeking safety and trauma-focused cognitive behavioral therapy. I have extensive experience working with clients of all ages, families, and groups on issues of addiction, blended families, divorce, trauma, and spirituality. I have also participated in immersion and liberation psychology programs in Mexico City and El Salvador. I’ve been using a video platform with my clients for many years. It helps make therapy more accessible, more convenient, and I’ve found it to be just as effective. Also, clients can practice with online tools during and after our sessions. I love animals, dance fitness, especially Zumba, all types of yoga including earning a Yoga Alliance accredited 200-hour Yoga Teacher Training. Thank you for stopping by! A little about myself. I am licensed in both California and Oregon. I am available for virtual sessions for all clients and a physical office in Salem, Oregon for in-person sessions. My virtual and in-office hours are typically Monday through Thursday, 10am-6pm. I am a mother to three adult children, a Nana to 5 and dog mom to 2 Jack Russel's. I grew up in foster care and was adopted in my teens. That path led me through my own therapeutic journey as I struggled with depression and anxiety. As I found wellness, I launched into social work professionally to support youth and families, and eventually here, as a licensed therapist. I have been working with Individuals and families in various therapeutic settings for over 25 years, supporting those who struggle with depression, anxiety, trauma, attachment/bonding issues, life stage challenges, and relationship conflicts to name a few. I find myself continually in awe of the resilience of the human spirit. Hello! I am Dr. Efrain Zepeda. I am a bilingual (English/Spanish) Licensed Clinical Psychologist and Clinical Social Worker. In the past 23 years of working as a mental health professional, one important lesson I have learned is that the most powerful therapeutic intervention is found in the interpersonal experience that occurs in the client-therapist relationship. Together we can analyze the past to co-create a new meaning to achieve healing. I strongly believe that therapy is not about labeling or judging, but rather about personal discovery.

I’m Allan, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who believes therapy—especially for kids—doesn’t have to mean sitting on a couch talking about feelings for 50 minutes. Sometimes the best conversations happen over LEGOs, games, art, play, or while doing something that makes it easier to simply be yourself. Online, it could mean processing trauma, playing online therapeutic games with children (or adults if you want to). I especially enjoy working with children and teens, including kids who are anxious, overwhelmed, navigating trauma, struggling with big emotions or behaviors, or having a hard time putting what’s happening inside into words. I use play, creativity, humor, and evidence-based approaches to build connection and help kids develop skills without therapy feeling like another place where adults are telling them what to do. I also work with adults navigating trauma, mood concerns, relationships, identity, major life changes, and life’s more complicated chapters. My style is warm, humorous, direct, and genuinely human. I draw from DBT, EMDR, Trauma-Focused CBT, play-based interventions, Theraplay-informed practices, narrative therapy, and trauma-informed care, adapting therapy to the person in front of me rather than expecting them to adapt to therapy. My professional experience includes inpatient psychiatry, juvenile justice, child welfare, family services, and community mental health, so I’m comfortable working with both everyday struggles and situations that feel especially complicated. Whether we meet in my Eureka office or online, my goal is to create a space where you—or your child—feel safe, understood, and comfortable showing up exactly as you are. My practice is LGBTQIA+ and gender-diverse affirming and neurodiversity-affirming. And yes, there are credentials behind the LEGOs.

The specialty filter is optional. You don’t need to check any boxes to see a provider. However, fit is very important when selecting an online therapist. If you have knowledge or experience to recognize what specialties you may need.

Finding a provider with a similar life experience can be beneficial because it can be easier to establish rapport and potentially be understood quicker and clearer.

Your first therapy session is for you and your therapist to meet each other and to ask any questions that you have about the counseling process. This is where you can expect your therapist to do the same as they will ask questions to gain insight into your specific situation. In this first session the therapist is doing their part to gather as much information so they can better assess if they are able to meet your therapeutic needs. Depending upon your provider's specialty, you may also discuss the methods the therapist will use. For additional information on therapy methods, please visit the Grow Therapy Help Center. Some people feel nervous before their first appointment, and that is totally normal! Coming prepared with a list of questions for your therapist may help. Remember, you're taking a brave step by seeking therapy, and it is okay to be nervous as you try something new.
