New to Grow
Congratulations! You have taken the first steps in the journey to your goal(s). I am extremely grateful you are considering me to partner up with. I consider my relationships as instrumental in learning who I am. The relationships that most speak to who I am include being a spouse, father, brother, son, colleague, and friend. My grandparents are deceased. Through these relationships I have learned a great deal.
In our first session together, here's what you can expect
Our first session is where you get to share a lot about you and why you're seeking help at this time. Also, you will get to know me and ask questions to better learn if we are a good fit.
The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions
I believe one of the most crucial ingredients to success is to identify when we have failed. Ideally, we will fail quickly, which will get us closer to achieving our therapeutic goal(s).
The clients I'm best positioned to serve
I believe any change requires a commitment to work. My ideal client is someone willing to do work in and out of session.
Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)
I have found cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) to be life-changing with individual mood-type problems, habit-type, and relationship-type problems. I have recently started using CBT for insomnia and have seen big changes. To best ensure success, the work we do in-session must continue outside of session. To help, we will document our in-session work so that you can more easily continue the work outside of session.
