Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

In our first session, we will focus on getting to know one another and establishing a safe, supportive, and confidential space. I will invite you to share what brings you to therapy, your current concerns, and what you hope to gain from our work together. We will review relevant background information, discuss how therapy works, and explore any questions or expectations you may have. This session also allows us to begin identifying goals and determining whether Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) or other approaches may be a good fit for your needs. There is no pressure to share more than you are comfortable with, and we will move at a pace that feels appropriate for you.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

My greatest strength as a therapist is my ability to listen with empathy and attunement while providing clear, structured guidance, allowing clients to feel understood while working toward meaningful change. There is no pressure to share more than you are comfortable with, and we will move at a pace that feels right for you.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

My primary therapeutic approaches include cognitive and behavioral therapy to help identify and replace negative thoughts and behaviors with healthier ones, person-centered therapy to create a safe, supportive space where you feel understood and can explore your feelings. If you’re a college student who feels stuck—even though you’re doing everything ‘right’—you don’t have to keep pushing through alone. My priority is to walk alongside you on your journey, providing a safe and supportive space where you feel truly heard and valued.

My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

I have professional clinical experience utilizing Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to assess, formulate, and treat a range of psychological concerns. My work involves collaborating with clients to identify maladaptive thought patterns and behaviors, developing individualized treatment plans, and implementing evidence-based CBT interventions. I regularly apply techniques such as cognitive restructuring, behavioral activation, exposure strategies, and skills training to support symptom reduction and functional improvement. I also monitor progress using standardized measures and adjust interventions accordingly to ensure effective, client-centered care.
