New to Grow
I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who provides a supportive, nonjudgmental space where clients can feel heard and understood. I specialize in helping individuals navigate anxiety, low self-esteem, and life transitions by building insight and practical coping skills. My approach is collaborative and goal-oriented, and I work alongside clients to help them feel more confident, balanced, and equipped to handle life’s challenges.
In our first session, we’ll focus on getting to know you and what brings you to therapy. I’ll ask questions about your current concerns, background, and goals so I can better understand your needs. This is also a space for you to share at your own pace—there’s no pressure to cover everything right away. We’ll begin identifying what you’d like to work on and discuss how I can support you, including the approach we’ll take in therapy. You’ll also have the opportunity to ask any questions and get a feel for whether this is a good fit for you. The goal is to create a comfortable, collaborative starting point for our work together.
My work is collaborative, structured, and goal-oriented, with a strong focus on helping clients challenge unhelpful thought patterns, improve emotional regulation, and build confidence. Clients often leave sessions with clear takeaways and strategies they can apply right away, which helps create meaningful and lasting progress over time.
I am best positioned to serve individuals navigating anxiety, depression, low self-esteem, and life transitions, particularly those who feel stuck in negative thought patterns, people-pleasing behaviors, or difficulty setting boundaries. I work well with clients who are motivated for change but may feel overwhelmed, lack direction, or struggle with self-criticism. I also support individuals working through relationship challenges, emotional regulation, and building healthier coping skills. My approach is a good fit for clients who are open to self-reflection and want practical tools to better understand themselves, improve their mindset, and create more balance and confidence in their daily lives.
Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)
In my private practice, I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) as a structured, goal-oriented approach in individual therapy to help clients understand the connection between their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors. I support clients in identifying and challenging cognitive distortions, such as all-or-nothing thinking and self-critical beliefs, and replacing them with more balanced perspectives. I focus on practical skill-building, including cognitive restructuring, behavioral activation, and problem-solving, while encouraging clients to apply these skills between sessions. My approach is collaborative and tailored to each client, helping them develop effective coping strategies and create lasting change.
