(she/her)
Hi, I’m Jessie, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and parent. I bring both professional expertise and personal experience to my work, supporting parents as they heal from past wounds, break generational cycles, and build stronger, more connected relationships with their children. My approach is compassionate and trauma-informed, integrating evidence-based methods like Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and attachment-based care to provide practical tools and deep healing on your parenting journey. I believe parenting is a powerful path for growth and transformation, and I’m here to walk alongside you every step of the way.
In our first session, we’ll take time to get to know each other in a safe, supportive space. I’ll ask about what brings you to therapy, your goals, and a bit about your background—especially your experiences as a parent and how your past may be showing up in the present. There’s no pressure to share everything right away. My focus is on building trust, helping you feel seen and supported, and beginning to explore the patterns you’d like to heal and shift.
I prioritize parents’ healing alongside providing practical tools and skills for parenting. I believe healing is an ongoing journey, and parenting offers a powerful opportunity to continue that growth. My approach supports you in nurturing both your own well-being and your relationship with your children, creating lasting change for your family.
I’m best positioned to support parents who are ready to reflect on their own childhood experiences, heal emotional wounds, and break generational cycles. My ideal clients are open to growth, curious about how their past shapes their parenting, and committed to creating a more intentional, connected relationship with their children. Whether you’re navigating triggers, working through trauma, or simply striving to parent differently, I’m here to walk alongside you with empathy, insight, and practical tools.
I use CBT in my work with parents to help them recognize and challenge unhelpful thoughts that may stem from their own upbringing or current stressors. Through tools like thought records, behavior tracking, and cognitive reframing, I support parents in developing healthier beliefs about themselves and their parenting. This approach helps reduce anxiety, increase self-awareness, and promote more intentional responses to their children.
My work is strongly rooted in attachment theory. I use attachment-based treatment to help parents understand how their early relational experiences shape current parenting patterns. By fostering self-reflection, emotional attunement, and co-regulation skills, I guide parents toward building secure, connected relationships with their children. This approach is central to healing generational cycles and creating a nurturing family environment.
