Hello! I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker of twenty-six years and have worked with a variety of patients across multiple specialties. I also have a master's degree in Public Health with a focus on behavioral epidemiology. I've worked in medical social work, with a variety of patients in oncology, physical rehabilitation and dialysis. In this way, I have a robust understanding of both the physical and mental aspects of my clients.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

I like to create a tailored plan to set the trajectory for follow-up sessions. In our first session together, we'll start with brief introductions, review the specific challenges you're facing and create a meaningful treatment plan.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

My sense of humor, empathy and longstanding professional experience are my greatest strengths that can help ease the client in a supportive way

Solution Focused Brief Treatment

I use a goal-directed collaborative approach through direct observation of clients' responses to a series of targeted questions.

Psychoeducation

With much experience across multiple medical social work subspecialties, I provide tailored intervention with information and support to help patients and their loved ones understand and cope with various illnesses.

Compassion Focused
