Hi, I am a Marriage and Family Therapist licensed in California for 20 years and I hold a doctorate degree in the Philosophy of Counseling. I am in my second marriage for 29 years now, after my 24-year first marriage failed. We have seven children between the two of us, 31 grandchildren, and 5 great-grandchildren. I have had good success counseling couples who have given up on their relationship, especially those who have experienced infedelity. I don't counsel children until they are 18. I enjoy helping people understand how they became the way they are and therfore find ways to leave dysfunction behind.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

In our first session together, we'll start with brief introductions, then dive into the specific challenges you're facing. This will help me create a tailored plan for us to work through in follow-up sessions.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

Previous clients have said the knowledge shared with them, and the options we explored together which they would never have thougt of, helped them deal more sucessfully with the challanges they were facing. Many say my style is gentle and understanding.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

If life has thrown you a few curves and you need to find ways to avoid their negative consequences, I would love to help you sort that through. I would help you find better alternatives of ways to deal with life than those that are not working well now. This is especially true if you are dealing with grief and loss. Dealing with divorce has been an important part of my services.
