I am a 36-year-old Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) originally from Los Angeles. Before becoming a therapist, I worked in nursing while serving in the United States Air Force, where I gained valuable experience supporting individuals through medical and personal challenges. I have been practicing therapy since 2018 and am passionate about helping adults navigate life stressors, emotional difficulties, and personal growth. My approach is compassionate, client-centered, and supportive, and I strive to create a safe space where clients feel heard, respected, and empowered throughout their healing process.
I offer a space where you can show up exactly as you are. Perhaps in pain, grieving, growing, uncertain, hopeful. I believe healing happens in safe connection, in being witnessed with compassion, and in slowly finding your way back to yourself.
My style is warm, grounded, and intuitive. I’m especially passionate about supporting people through trauma, anxiety, relationship pain, motherhood, identity shifts, and seasons of emotional heaviness. Together we make room for both the ache and the healing, with gentleness, honesty, and care.
Welcome! I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with 30 years of experience, and I’ve had the privilege of serving clients in California for nearly three decades. I've worked in a variety of settings from psychiatric hospitals and emergency rooms to outpatient clinics, jails, and community health centers. No matter where I’ve been, my passion has always been helping people heal, grow, and find hope.
I work with adults of all ages—whether you’re 18 or 98, And, I don't buy into that "old person" baloney. How would you be if you didn't know the day you were born? I enjoy working with individuals and couples, whether you come in alone or together, we can discuss what matters to the both of you's, I do use some of the Gottman's approach.
I specialize in trauma, including childhood abuse, military service, serious accidents, and other life-altering events. I also have extensive experience helping people navigate grief and loss, depression, anxiety, PTSD, bipolar disorder, and (SMI) seriously mentally illI clients.
My approach to therapy is collaborative and interactive. I draw from a variety of evidence-based therapies, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT) for PTSD, Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), mindfulness, motivational interviewing, Prolonged Exposure Therapy, and relaxation skills. I bring compassion, listening. and supportive therapy to all sessions.
Throughout my career, I’ve worked on crisis teams, partnered with law enforcement, and responded to emergencies in homes, hospitals, and even at Ground Zero in New York City after 9/11. These experiences have shaped my understanding of trauma and resilience, and I continue to use the skills I’ve learned to help clients through life’s most challenging moments.
If you’re ready to take the next step, Let’s work together to move forward—wherever you want your journey to go.
I help high-functioning adults reconnect with themselves and learn to trust their own judgment again.
Many of the people I work with are thoughtful, capable adults who have spent years taking care of everyone else while quietly struggling themselves. They often appear successful on the outside but privately feel anxious, emotionally exhausted, overwhelmed, or disconnected from who they used to be.
You may be recovering from betrayal, navigating a difficult relationship or divorce, struggling with perfectionism or people-pleasing, healing from trauma, or facing a major life transition. Somewhere along the way, you may have begun second-guessing yourself, losing confidence in your instincts, or wondering why life feels so much harder than it looks from the outside.
My approach is warm, practical, and collaborative. Together, we'll make sense of the patterns keeping you stuck, calm your nervous system, reduce shame, strengthen healthy boundaries, and build the confidence to make choices that align with your values instead of fear or self-doubt. Therapy should leave you feeling understood, supported, and equipped with practical tools that make everyday life feel lighter.
I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with a Master of Science in Marriage, Family, and Child Counseling and a degree from UC Davis. I support evidence-based practices while recognizing that each client's journey is unique. My work is informed by ongoing professional education and a commitment to remaining current with research and best practices.
My own life experiences, including overcoming significant adversity and serious health challenges, have deepened my empathy and reinforced my belief that healing and growth are possible. These experiences allow me to connect with clients with authenticity, hope, and understanding.
Outside of therapy, I enjoy spending time with my family, homeschooling my two children, teaching, reading, camping, swimming, and serving as a leader with the Civil Air Patrol and Scouting America.
Hello, I'm Dr. Scheherazade Pheng, a licensed Clinical and Forensic Psychologist with more than 20 years of experience helping adults across California. My work has been at the intersection of mental health, the criminal justice system, and the families whose lives are deeply affected by it.
One of the things that matters most to me is making quality mental health care accessible. I welcome clients with a variety of insurance plans because I believe the support you receive should never depend on the insurance card you carry.
Throughout my career, I have learned two important truths. When one person enters the criminal justice system, an entire family is impacted. Parents, spouses, grandparents, and children often carry overwhelming stress, grief, fear, and uncertainty while trying to keep moving forward. I have also seen that many communities near California's prisons and detention facilities have limited access to mental health care, despite having a tremendous need for support.
Whether you're struggling with anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, anger, shame, or the emotional challenges of loving someone who is incarcerated, you will find a compassionate and judgment-free space in my practice. Together, we'll work toward healing, greater clarity, and renewed hope. You deserve support just as much as the people you care about, and I'm here to help when you're ready. Dr. Pheng is also the author of The Other Side of the Wall: A Healing Guide for Families of Incarcerated Loved Ones, available at thriveinstitutefbh.com.
I believe therapy works best when you feel understood as a whole person—not simply as a diagnosis or list of symptoms. I’m less focused on what’s “wrong” and more interested in what you’ve been through, how it has shaped you, and how those experiences may influence the way you cope, connect, and move through life.
My approach is warm, curious, trauma-informed, and collaborative. I work with adults who have experienced trauma in many forms, including childhood trauma, interpersonal violence, abuse, neglect, traumatic loss, accidents, medical trauma, and other experiences that have left them feeling overwhelmed, disconnected, or stuck. I also support people navigating the lasting effects of trauma, including anxiety, depression, substance use, relationship difficulties, attachment wounds, and challenges with self-worth or emotional regulation.
I draw from a range of therapeutic approaches and tailor our work to your needs, goals, and what feels most helpful. Together, we’ll create a space where you can feel accepted, better understand yourself, and gently challenge patterns that may be keeping you from the life or relationships you want. My hope is that therapy helps you feel more grounded, connected, and authentically yourself.
I’m Dr. Patricia Chan, PsyD, LCSW, a licensed clinical social worker and psychologist dedicated to supporting individuals, couples, children, and families through compassionate, evidence-based mental health care. With more than 20 years of clinical experience, my background includes trauma, anxiety, depression, family systems, crisis intervention, and complex mental health needs, as well as clinical supervision, teaching, and expert consultation.
My training also includes nutritional health and an integrative understanding of the connection between nutrition, emotional well-being, and overall health. I take a whole-person approach to care, recognizing that psychological, emotional, physical, and lifestyle factors can all contribute to well-being. I provide individualized, supportive, and confidential mental health services, including secure telehealth, while helping clients develop practical strategies to strengthen their mental health, relationships, and overall quality of life.
Hi there! I’m La Tisha. Whether you’re navigating anxiety, grief, disconnection, or a sense of losing yourself, my goal is to help you move beyond surface coping and return to your authentic self. I work with clients who are ready to step out of “performing wellness” and into honesty, genuine presence, and alignment with their core values. My approach is holistic and relational—integrating mind, body, and spirit to foster resilience, restore connection, and support sustainable healing and authentic living.

Great to meet you! My name is Rachel Gonzales, I am a licensed clinical social worker. My goal as your therapist will be to help you navigate painful thoughts and emotions while staying connected to your values. Our values are how we want to show up in life. Authenticity, connection, open mindedness, compassion, adventure, self-care...to name a few. Making value instead of pain-based decisions helps us feel more congruent and at peace with ourselves.
If you're in your 40s or 50s and feel like you no longer recognize yourself, you're not imagining it. Anxiety that seems to come out of nowhere, a shorter fuse, brain fog, poor sleep, low mood, and feeling like you've lost your spark are all common in perimenopause and menopause. Too often, women are told it's "just stress" or that they should push through.
I'm a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with 25 years of experience and a Certified Menopause Coach. I specialize in working with women in midlife who are navigating the emotional and mental health side of this transition, including anxiety, depression, and ADHD symptoms that often surface or intensify during these years.
In our work together, you'll have a space where your experience is taken seriously. I'll help you understand what's happening, build practical tools for managing mood, stress, and focus, and reconnect with who you are and what you want from this next chapter. I draw on a range of evidence-based approaches and tailor them to you.
Midlife can be more than something to get through. With the right support, it can be a time of clarity, confidence, and renewal. I'd be honored to help you thrive in it.

I'm driven by curiosity and a strong drive to make meaningful connections with people, and I believe that feeling understood and accepted is an important part of the therapeutic process. While I'll occasionally use humor and lightness in sessions, I take the work I do and the impact I have on clients with utmost seriousness. I’m constantly evaluating my work and am not afraid to acknowledge when I may have made a mistake and work hard to figure out how to correct it and learn from it. I strive to bring openness, authenticity, and compassion to the therapeutic relationship and to meet each client where they are.
I utilize a strength-based approach, utilizing strengths you already have and can build upon to overcome challenges. We can modify and utilize other techniques as needed. I am a born and bred L.A native. Born into a family where there was so much intergenerational patterns that were passed. As I placed my faith in God and I allowed him to heal me and show me my true identity in him I was able to experience life changing breakthrough. My hope is to help anyone who is seeking to incorporate faith, regardless of where you are in your walk with God (committed or questioning). God met me at my lowest, showed me his love and compassion that truly changed me for the better. I hope to show others how God is the ultimate healer of the mind, body, soul and spirit. Healing is an ongoing process and it takes daily renewing of the mind.

Hi! I’m Dr. Kelly Horton, a licensed clinical psychologist with over 20 years of experience helping people reach their goals related to greater peace, healthier relationships, self-understanding, emotional balance, and personal growth. My journey into psychology and the field of therapy began with curiosity about the “whys” of human behavior—why people respond the way they do, what helps some people become resilient, and how healing relationships are built after trauma or dysfunction.
Are you feeling stuck, overwhelmed, disconnected, or unsure how to move forward? I work with adults and couples who are seeking greater clarity, connection, improved communication, and emotional balance. Whether you are navigating anxiety, life transitions, relationship stress, trauma, or patterns that no longer feel sustainable, therapy can offer a supportive space to better understand yourself and your relationships.
Together, we’ll explore the patterns that may be keeping you stuck, strengthen communication and coping skills, and create a path forward that feels supportive, practical, and meaningful. I’m passionate about helping clients understand themselves more deeply, strengthen connection, and break cycles that no longer serve them.
Congratulations, starting the journey towards seeking help is one of the biggest step. My name is Assaf Jaffe and over the past 20 years it has been my privilege to walk alongside client working to make changes. Having trained in Holistic Therapy at Native American Health Center I have tremendous experience with trauma, anxiety, depression and treating addictive disorders.
In these communities I learned the importance of connecting with my clients on a deep interpersonal basis. I also learned that having a variety of effective techniques to reduce symptoms and problems was vitally effective once a solid relation was established.
As a strength based Psychologist, I strongly feel I can engage my client in the aspects of their life that are already most successful and utilize these tools to address their current problems. IF you think solution focused individual, couples or family therapy can benefit you currently, I believe I am the ideal therapist for you.
I provide virtual therapy using an integrated, whole-person approach that focuses not only on navigating difficult periods, but also on maintaining progress, building resilience, and supporting long-term mental wellness. Therapy can be both restorative and preventative, and I work with clients across all stages of that process.
I treat a wide range of concerns, including anxiety, depression, PTSD, OCD, personality-related patterns, and life transitions. My clinical background includes experience with higher-acuity and complex cases—such as forensic populations, individuals in psychiatric settings, and those managing co-occurring mental and medical conditions. While my current practice is fully virtual, I am comfortable addressing difficult or sensitive topics and provide a space where clients can speak openly without hesitation.
My approach is direct, engaged, and collaborative. I prioritize building strong, trusting relationships and creating a setting where clients feel understood and supported. I recognize that progress is not always linear and work consistently with clients through both setbacks and growth.
I am multilingual and can provide therapy in English, Lithuanian, and conversational Hungarian languages.

Hello,
My name is Elizabeth, and my pronouns are they/them/elle. I am a bicultural nonbinary therapist. I have the most experience working with neurodivergent clients, anxiety disorders, self-confidence issues, and challenges around gender and sexuality.
I use a very humanistic approach in my practice, and I am human with you in the room. You do not need to feel talked down to or be told what to do in therapy. You and I can work together instead, as I may be the expert in psychology, but you are the expert of your own life. You will be encouraged to use your own strengths to push through the hurdles and you can expect warmth from me throughout this process.
Hello! I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) currently based and practicing in Oregon, though with an active license in California as well. I attended California Institute of Integral Studies (CIIS) for graduate school and lived in the Bay Area for a decade before moving to Portland, OR shortly before the pandemic. I have over thirteen years of experience as a "generalist" therapist, though I specialize in supporting individuals in the midst of life transitions, including but not limited to: relationship challenges, moves to a new city or state, new or chronic medical diagnoses, career and work problems, spiritual questioning, transitions into the workforce or retirement. I do NOT work with couples at this time. While I consider the psychological theories behind my work, I hold them lightly in the room, believing most fundamentally in the importance of an adaptive, culturally-sensitive, non-judgmental stance with my clients.
PLEASE NOTE: your chosen intake appointment time is subject to my final approval based on my shifting availability. I see clients on multiple platforms and am unable to sync all of my calendars in real time. Following the initial appointment, we will find a mutually agreeable meeting time and I will manage the booking on the Grow platform going forward, including rescheduling and cancellations. You will need to message me directly to cancel or reschedule your appointment. I request the courtesy of as much advanced notice as possible. I am not able to work with clients who cancel without 24 hrs advanced notice or no show more than twice.
All things are interconnected. To feel better, you have to act better. To feel better, you have to think better. To think better, you have to feel better. To act better, you have to think better. To think, feel, and act better, you have to care for your physical health. To care for your physical health, you have to think, feel, and act better. Each has a corresponding effect on the other. However, the aspect of ourselves that we have the most direct control of is what we do, our acting. While we can influence other people, we cannot control other people. A great source of conflict and unhappiness results from our efforts to control others. If you want better relationships, the only thing we can control is what we do, how we choose to relate. We are responsible for what we do. Others are responsible for what they do. Accepting this fundamental reality and thinking, feeling, and acting in accordance with it is how we increase our experience of power, freedom, belonging, meaning and, very importantly, fun.
My professional experience includes over 30 years of post-Master’s clinical work, including leadership experience in foster care, chemical abuse and addiction, inpatient and outpatient mental health services, and crisis intervention, de-escalation, and hospitalization. I am experienced in working with ages three through the elderly. I have worked extensively with youth and families, diverse populations and life issues, providing services in various settings, including family homes, schools, juvenile detention facilities, jails, outpatient clinics, and inpatient psychiatric facilities.
You're here for a reason. The right fit can change the outcome. Maybe I can help.
Whether it's the same fight on repeat, a habit you can't shake, a loss, or just not feeling like yourself, I invite you to keep reading to learn more about me and my approach.
Maybe your life is working in most of the ways that count—work, relationships, the things you care about—but something keeps getting in the way. The same argument. Anxiety that doesn't match the situation. Shutting down when someone gets close, or blowing up and regretting it later. You might understand exactly what you're doing and still do it anyway. Or maybe something happened, like an affair coming to light, a relationship ending, or losing someone, and the way you've always handled things isn't working anymore.
Therapy with me has direction. We'll know what we're working toward and check in regularly on what's changing and what's still getting in the way. What we work on in session should carry into your life, whether that means noticing a pattern, trying a different response, or having a conversation you've been avoiding.
You'll know you're making progress when you catch a familiar pattern sooner, understand what's happening inside you instead of just reacting, stay steadier in hard conversations, set boundaries and make decisions with less second-guessing, recover from setbacks faster, and handle things on your own that you used to need help with.
Progress doesn't mean you'll never feel anxious, angry, or stuck again. It means you're better at handling it yourself. As that becomes consistent, we'll space sessions out and eventually wrap up. The goal is for you to need me less over time.

Welcome! Reaching out is a meaningful first step and I'm glad you're here. I support adults of all ages who are navigating anxiety, chronic stress, life transitions, relationship challenges, issues with boundaries, communication and self-esteem, and healing from past wounds/trauma. I also offer a space to process infertility, pregnancy, postpartum and parenting challenges. In our sessions together, we'll cultivate insight, self-compassion, and practical strategies to help you feel more present and grounded, let go of patterns that no longer serve you and feel more aligned with your authentic self.
Hi, I'm Darla, a licensed therapist who works with adults navigating anxiety, depression, life transitions, and relationship challenges. My approach is collaborative, trauma-informed, and insight-oriented, blending practical tools with deeper exploration of patterns. I create a grounded, supportive space where you can gain clarity, better understand your emotional responses, and move toward sustainable change. Outside of my practice, you can usually find me with my friends and family out on a hike, the beach or spending time with my dogs, which helps keep me grounded and connected to the human side of this work.
