New to Grow
I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist who works with teens, adults, couples, and families navigating anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, perfectionism, and neurodivergence. I have a special interest in supporting autistic and ADHD individuals, including those diagnosed later in life. My approach is warm, collaborative, and direct. I combine insight with practical strategies, helping you understand the patterns shaping your relationships and experiences while building meaningful, lasting change. My goal is to create a space where you feel understood, supported, and gently challenged to grow.
Your first session is an opportunity for us to get to know each other. We'll talk about what brought you to therapy, what's been going on in your life, and what you're hoping to get out of our work together. I'll ask questions to better understand your history, relationships, and current challenges, while also making space for anything you feel is important to share. My goal is for you to leave our first session feeling heard, supported, and with a clearer sense of how we can move forward together.
I strive to create a space where you feel genuinely understood while also helping you move toward meaningful change. My style is warm, collaborative, and honest. I'll absolutely hold space when you need it, but I also won't hesitate to ask difficult questions, notice patterns, or gently challenge beliefs that may be keeping you stuck. I believe therapy should be both supportive and productive. Together, we'll explore the deeper experiences that have shaped you while developing practical strategies you can use in your everyday life. My goal is to help you gain insight, strengthen your relationships, and build a life that feels more authentic and aligned with who you are.
I work best with teens, adults, couples, and families who are ready to better understand themselves and create meaningful change. Many of my clients struggle with anxiety, perfectionism, relationship challenges, burnout, or navigating neurodivergence, including autism and ADHD. Some are newly diagnosed or beginning to question whether they're neurodivergent, while others are working to better understand years of masking, chronic overwhelm, sensory differences, or challenges in relationships and communication. They often notice recurring patterns in their thoughts, emotions, or relationships and are looking for more than just a place to vent—they want insight, practical tools, and an honest, collaborative therapist who will support and challenge them as they grow.
Other specialties
I identify as
Attachment-based
I view many of our thoughts, emotions, and relationship patterns through the lens of attachment. Together, we'll explore how your early relationships and life experiences may continue to influence the way you connect with others, respond to conflict, and see yourself. By increasing awareness of these patterns, we can begin to build more secure relationships, strengthen emotional regulation, and create healthier ways of relating to yourself and the people around you.
Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)
I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to help you better understand the connection between your thoughts, emotions, and behaviors. Together, we’ll identify patterns of thinking that may contribute to anxiety, self-criticism, or feeling stuck, and explore ways to develop more balanced perspectives and effective coping strategies. CBT provides practical tools that can be applied in everyday life while supporting deeper self-awareness and meaningful change.
Somatic
I use a somatic approach to help clients better understand the connection between their thoughts, emotions, and body experiences, including how stress and emotions may show up physically. For neurodivergent clients, this may include exploring sensory experiences, nervous system regulation, overwhelm, and the ways their environment impacts their well-being. Together, we’ll identify what helps your body feel safe and supported while developing tools for emotional regulation, self-awareness, and navigating daily life in a way that honors your unique needs.
Person-centered (Rogerian)
I use a person-centered approach by meeting you where you are and creating a space where you feel comfortable being honest and fully yourself. I believe therapy is a collaborative process, and you know yourself better than anyone. My role is to help you explore your experiences, recognize your strengths, and better understand what you need to move toward the changes you want to make.
