New to Grow
Life is ever-evolving, and sometimes we need a partner to help us navigate its changing tides. Together, we will focus on building your resilience and capacity for whatever comes next. Our work is practical and action-oriented; we'll identify tangible coping skills you can apply to your daily life, while working to shift negative self-talk into a more supportive mindset. I believe the best work happens in an environment of trust, which is why I always welcome feedback and invite a spirit of shared accountability in our sessions.
In our initial session, we will spend time exploring what brings you to therapy at this particular time in your journey. I find it incredibly helpful to discuss your previous experience with therapy- specifically what resonated with you and what felt less effective- so we can tailor our work to your unique needs. We will also begin an open dialogue about your goals, ensuring that our time together is focused on the outcomes that matter most to you.
My approach is rooted in empowerment- helping you tap into your innate resilience to create the life you desire. I pride myself on being a warm and caring advocate for my clients, moving at a pace that allows for deep, sustainable growth rather than rushed solutions. Building a foundation of strength that supports your evolution at every stage.
I am best positioned to work with women working through relationship problems, life change or transitional point of their life, family issues and grief. Clients whose goals are to make change to move forward in their life. Client who have experienced grief and is ready to process their grief and learn coping skills to move through their grief. I am best positioned work with client's processing a break up or a client who is working through a relationship with a partner with substance abuse.
Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)
As a therapist, I use the Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) approach. My therapeutic approach is the belief that while we cannot always change our circumstance, we can change the way we respond to them. The work is on uncovering the 'why' behind certain behaviors and, more importantly, develop the 'how' for moving forward.
