My treatment methods

Trauma-Focused CBT

I am trained and certified in TF-CBT and use it daily. I am also well versed and educated on the neurobiology of trauma, and both the short-term and long-terms effects of this. I specialize in trauma informed therapy interventions that focus on calming the central nervous system as well as improving emotional regulation.

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

I am trained and educated in the use of CBT, and have over 15 years of Therapy experience utilizing this method.

Psychodynamic

I have a background in several areas of social work and clinical work working with both children and adults with developmental challenges. I use a developmental lens, specifically drawing on my professional experience as well as my education and knowledge of Erik Erikson, and what age and stage of development the person is in to currently better understand their psychological conflicts and challenges impacting their interpersonal relationships and to help the client gain self-awareness and make positive interpersonal changes in their lives.
