My treatment methods

Person-centered (Rogerian)

I take a positive view of people, viewing people striving toward making their lives better and more meaningful. The idea is to work toward increasing self-awareness and being empowered to make the lives they want to live. Highlighting their growth, wholeness, spontaneity, and inner directedness.

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

The individual is born with the ability to think rationally, evaluate, analyze, and question the dynamics of their lives.

Adlerian

Based on the growth model, which stresses the individual's positive capacity to live fully in society. It is characterized by seeing unity in the personality, and stressing life goals that give direction to behavior. Challenging a person's mistaken notions, faulty assumptions, and then encouraging and helping to develop socially useful goals.
