I graduated from the Univerisity of Southern California with a Master’s in Social Work. I have eight years of clinical experience working with children, adolescents, adults, and families at the Los Angeles Unified School District and Child and Family Guidance Center, most recently in the Juvenile Justice program. I have provided clinical therapy in the outpatient and residential setting, treating trauma, anxiety, and depression. With passion, dedication, and a collaborative approach, therapy is a powerful tool that can improve the quality of life.
My goal early in treatment is to establish a relationship focused on trust, honesty, and compassion to develop a comfortable experience for my clients. Most importantly, I approach my work with kindness and warmth to create a safe space to encourage growth for my clients.
My greatest strength as a clinician is to establish a safe environment and provide the space to meet the clients need.
I specialize in working with children and adults to treat anxiety, depression, childhood trauma, relationships, and grief and help young professionals experiencing work stress or life transitions. I utilize Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, motivational interviewing, mindfulness, and a psychodynamic approach to help clients overcome life obstacles.
I utilize CBT to help identify and change unhealthy thought patterns that contribute to symptoms and behaviors.
I take into account the client's cultural background, beliefs, and experiences to create a safe and respectful environment where the clients can feel understood and supported.
I utilize MI to help resolve ambivalent feelings and insecurities and commit to difficult processes of change.
