New to Grow
I’m a therapist who works with adults dealing with life transitions, relationship challenges, and big emotions. I help you notice patterns in your thoughts, feelings, and relationships, build skills to handle stress and emotions, and create healthier, more fulfilling connections. I blend psychodynamic, relational, and DBT approaches, so we focus both on understanding yourself more deeply and on practical ways to navigate daily life with more ease and confidence.
In your first session, you’ll have a safe space to share what’s on your mind and what feels most important to you right now. We’ll explore your goals, concerns, and the challenges you’re facing, and I’ll help you start to see ways therapy can support you. You’ll leave with a clearer sense of what’s possible and what your next steps in this process might look like.
My greatest strengths lie in my ability to hold intense emotions and be fully present with you. My deep experience understanding the human mind comes from contemplative training, including extensive meditation practice, as well as ongoing training in modern psychoanalysis, which helps uncover the root causes of your pain and suffering. I help my clients work through what hasn’t yet been spoken, and many find relief, freedom, and healing by discovering who they are, what they want, and how they want to live their lives.
My ideal clients are thoughtful, self-aware adults who are ready to look deeply at their lives and relationships. They often feel stuck in old patterns—maybe in work, friendships, or romantic relationships—and are seeking more clarity, balance, and emotional ease. They care about understanding themselves, building healthier connections, and handling life’s ups and downs with more confidence and skill. Many are navigating transitions, managing strong emotions, or figuring out how to feel more secure and grounded in their relationships and daily life.
I use DBT skills to help you handle intense emotions, deal with stress, and improve your relationships. We’ll work on practical tools like mindfulness, coping strategies, and communication skills that you can use in everyday life.
I use a psychodynamic approach to help you see how past experiences show up in your current thoughts, feelings, and relationships. Together, we’ll explore these patterns so you can understand yourself better and make more conscious choices.
In therapy, I pay attention to your relationships and the patterns that show up in them—including our relationship in session. We explore how these patterns affect your feelings, choices, and interactions, so you can build healthier connections and feel more yourself.
