My name is Patricia Pasillas (LCSW) and I'm a first generation Latina located here in the heart of Southern California. Throughout the last 14 years of my career as a licensed clinical social worker I've build a solid reputation for not only breaking down the barriers within society but it's my eagerness to help open the doors for others that truly separates me from others in this line of work.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

In our first session together, we'll start with brief introductions, then dive into specific challenges. At the end of every appointment I want you to feel empowered. You'll quickly notice your confidence will begin to change as well. In the end I'm not only here to help you communicate in a more effective manner. I'm here to help encourage your personal growth and to help you recognize the beauty in your individuality.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

I'm a well rounded Social Worker who has inpatient, outpatient and field experience. I plan on using Strength-based, Trauma focused, Narrative, Mindfulness-based, Cognitive behavioral (CBT), and Solution focused.

Describe the client(s) you are best positioned to serve.

I love working with adults who suffer from depression, anxiety, trauma, and a variety of life stressors. I believe that therapy is a powerful tool that can assist you in improving quality of life. I understand what it's like to face obstacles and frustrations and I also understand how difficult it can be for the average human being to articulate what it is exactly that they're going through. My whole goal throughout our session is to help you verbally express your challenges in a safe and comfortable environment. Judgement doesn't exist here.
