Hi, I’m Eva, a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist who believes healing begins with feeling truly seen, heard, and understood. I provide a warm, compassionate, and trauma-informed space where we can explore the experiences and patterns that have shaped you, while building greater self-compassion, connection, and confidence in who you are. My goal is to help you feel more grounded, empowered, and connected to yourself as you move toward meaningful change.

First session

Your first session is an opportunity for us to get to know each other and begin building a comfortable, trusting connection. We’ll talk about what brings you to therapy, what you’re hoping to work on, and some of the experiences that have shaped you. I’ll also gather background information to better understand your needs and begin developing a treatment plan together. You don’t need to have everything figured out—just come as you are.

Strengths

I bring warmth, genuine curiosity, and a nonjudgmental presence to my sessions. I’m skilled at creating a space where clients feel safe enough to explore difficult experiences while also feeling supported and empowered. My trauma-informed, person-centered approach allows me to meet each client where they are and tailor therapy to their unique needs and goals.

Ideal clients

My ideal clients are adults who are navigating trauma, C-PTSD, grief, self-harm, suicidal thoughts or past attempts, or the loss of someone to suicide. I have a particular passion for helping clients understand how childhood experiences and early relationships can continue to affect the way they see themselves, connect with others, and respond to challenges today. I work well with clients who want to better understand the roots of their struggles, break patterns that no longer serve them, and develop healthier ways of coping. Together, we can work toward greater self-compassion, empowerment, emotional connection, and a stronger sense of self.

Treatment methods

EMDR

EMDR is a trauma-focused therapy that can help your brain process difficult or painful experiences that may still feel “stuck.” We’ll identify experiences, emotions, or beliefs you’d like to work through, and I’ll guide you through gentle eye movements or other forms of bilateral stimulation while you focus on the memory. You remain in control throughout the process, and we’ll go at a pace that feels safe and manageable for you.

Internal Family Systems (IFS)

I use IFS to help clients better understand the different “parts” of themselves that show up in difficult moments. Together, we gently explore parts that may feel anxious, critical, hurt, angry, or protective, and learn what they may be trying to communicate or protect. This can help you respond to yourself with more compassion and create greater balance and understanding within yourself.

Psychodynamic

I use psychodynamic therapy to help clients understand how their past experiences, especially childhood relationships and experiences, may be influencing their thoughts, emotions, relationships, and patterns today. Together, we explore the roots of these patterns with curiosity and compassion, helping you gain insight, heal old wounds, and create healthier ways of relating to yourself and others.

Trauma Informed Care

I use a trauma-informed approach by creating a safe, supportive space where you feel heard, respected, and in control of your healing. We move at a pace that feels comfortable for you while exploring how past experiences may still affect you today. Together, we focus on building safety, understanding your responses, developing healthy coping skills, and helping you feel more empowered.
