Hi! I'm so glad that you are here! My name is Kayla, and I'm a licensed therapist in both Ohio and California. I graduated with my Masters in Social Work from Florida State University in 2021, and, prior to my work in private practice, I've had the opportunity to work in a variety of settings including foster care, life coaching, school counseling, and as a medical social worker for a children's hospital. I have always been a passionate advocate of therapy and am so grateful for the opportunity to be apart of someone's healing journey. When I'm not working, I love being outside, exercising, traveling, and being a mom.

Hello! Are you overwhelmed, stressed out, angry, or maybe in a funk and not sure why? You are not alone! I work with many teens and young adults in the same boat and am excited to work with you to get yourself back on track and feeling good. I am a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor, Certified Rehabilitation Counselor, and Certified Case Manager. I have worked in a variety of settings with a focus on the teen population since 2001 such as wilderness therapy programs, high schools/boarding schools and rehabilitation/psychiatric hospitals. I enjoy helping teens and young adults up to 25 years of age find their own path and believe that everyone has many answers within themselves. Sometimes these answers are hard to find when life gets in the way. With some self reflection, new awareness and processing it's exciting to see how things can begin to change with some new perspective and development of new stories we tell ourselves. As a result of this work, our lives moving forward can be elevated and begin to move in the right direction. I am honored to help clients in their journey to find peace, inspiration and motivation to be the best they can be! *Please note for clients in the Truckee/Tahoe area option for in person (in addition to virtual) *

Hola Aloha I’m a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) CA, Art Therapist, Eco-Therapist, Certified 500-Hour Yoga Teacher, and Holy Fire Reiki Master. I support people in creating meaningful change by cultivating mindful awareness of thought and speech patterns that limit growth, joy, and satisfaction. Together, we’ll practice identifying and shifting beliefs that no longer serve you, reframe unhelpful narratives, and open space for empowerment, clarity, and transformation. Rooted in my Native American Mexica, Spanish, and European heritage, I bring a holistic, culturally grounded approach to therapy. My Souljorn has taken me across Europe, Asia, Mexico, and the Hawaiian Islands, where I immersed myself in culture, permaculture, meditation, healing arts, spirituality, and indigenous ceremonies—experiences that continue to guide my work. I hold a B.A. in Ethnic Studies from UC Berkeley and an M.A. in Psychology and Art Therapy, where I studied neuroplasticity and creative approaches to healing. I also integrate Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT), or tapping, which helps honor and release limiting thoughts and emotions. Along with mindfulness and creative practices, I offer guidance to connect with nature, the elements, and the cycles of the seasons as pathways to grounding, renewal, and deeper self-awareness. Earlier in my career I worked in community clinics, schools, homes, and wilderness therapy programs. Today, I provide online therapy for California residents, offering a compassionate and intentional space for growth and healing. If you are ready to release old patterns, reconnect with your authentic self, and embrace new possibilities, I am here to guide and support you with care, wisdom, and purpose. The time for transformation is now. We are the ones we have been waiting for. Eternal blessings

I am a licensed clinical social worker located in Oakland, California. I graduated with a Master’s from Smith College School for Social Work (Northampton, MA), with a focus on psychodynamic and attachment theories. Over the last 10+ years, my clinical work has mostly been in community mental health focused on supporting young children and families recovering from, or still living through, trauma. This work has highlighted and confirmed for me the impact of early childhood experiences and the ripple effect that they have in our lives. My work is trauma-informed, culturally responsive and liberatory in nature. Depending on the unique needs of each person with whom I work, I blend attachment and psychodynamic theories, somatic practices, my own sense of playfulness and an orientation towards the inherent wisdom in each of us and the natural world of which we are a part. I bring with me years of experience working with folks impacted by both big “T” Traumas as well as little “t” traumas. Regardless of what you’ve experienced in your life up to this point, I would love to walk with you as you forge your path now. In the present moment. As a queer, white, cis-woman committed to anti-racism and anti-oppression, I love working with folks whose identities differ from my own and those with whom I experience identity overlap. Ultimately, a trusting relationship with a therapist is one of the most significant predictors for healing and change. I realize that your trust in me may be informed by various elements of my lived experience. I am absolutely open to exploring this together to see if we are a good fit. Let’s schedule a consultation and see how it feels.

The burnout is real. You have so much to do, but you just don’t have the energy. Your mind is SO busy and SO loud. Sometimes you can get it together, but at the expense of your health. You clean the the entire garage! Or you work on that project so long that by the time you stop, you realize you haven’t eaten in five hours, your head hurts, and your bladder is about to explode. All of this and how the heck do you even find a therapist that you can feel safe with? This is a lot. The world is a lot. Therapy is a lot. Therapy is vulnerable. I get it! I understand. I'm Kim. I am a Licensed Clinical Social worker, trauma therapist, ADHDer, mom, serial hobbiest, and corgi lover. I am neurodiversity affirming and a safe therapist for gender and sexuality diverse folks. I have lots of experience working with people who are struggling with PTSD/C-PTSD, ADHD, parenting issues, and life transitions. I am all too familiar with the gifted-kid to anxious-adult pipeline. I understand that for some people, really hard things may come easily and really basic things may be very hard. I love working with people who are tired of repeating the same old cycles and are ready to make a change.

Hello, my name is Jamal and I am a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor with seven years of experience collaborating with diverse communities including preteens, adolescents, adults and older adults, and underrepresented groups. Most of my work consists of processing trauma and assessing the relationships we have with others to build more hope for the future. I personally believe that though things may be hard right now, no one is 'crazy' and that in some way, the way we are makes sense due to our past experiences. That means we can understand and create experiences now and in the future that are more adaptive and true to how we want to live. -I currently am not seeing clients under the age of 18 nor couples due to my availability. My apologies in advance for any inconvenience-
