Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

In our first session, you can expect a supportive and non-judgmental space where we begin getting to know each other. We will talk about what brings you to therapy, the challenges you are currently facing, and what you hope to gain from the process. Together, we will begin identifying goals for therapy and discuss how we can work collaboratively to support your healing and growth.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

My commitment to creating a safe, compassionate and trauma informed space where clients feel seen, heard, and respected. I integrate trauma informed care with Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to help client's understand how past experiences may influence their current thoughts, emotions and behaviors, while also building practical tools for managing distress in the present. My approach is collaborative and empowering. I work alongside clients to gently process difficult experiences, strengthen emotional awareness and develop healthier patterns of thinking and coping. Many clients find that through this process they gain greater self-understanding, improved emotional regulation, and a stronger sense of confidence and resilience in their daily lives.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

I work best with individuals who are navigating the lasting effects of trauma, anxiety, depression and post partum. I am best positioned to support clients who are seeking to better understand their emotional experiences, process past events, and develop healthier ways of coping. My approach is especially helpful for clients who feel stuck, overwhelmed or disconnected, and who are ready to begin making meaningful change in their lives.

My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

I am a licensed therapist who specializes in supporting trauma survivors, self-critical millennials and new mothers navigating post partum., relationships, and emotional healing. My work integrates Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) to help you connect with your inner world, quiet harsh self-talk, and build a more compassionate relationship with yourself. I offer warm, affirming space where all parts of you are welcome- especially the ones that feel wounded, stuck and unheard.

Acceptance and commitment (ACT)

When working with anxiety and depression, I often use Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). This approach helps clients learn how to response to difficult thoughts and feelings with greater openness and self-compassion, while focusing on actions that align with their values. Rather than focusing on eliminating distress, I support clients in building psychological flexibility-learning how to notice difficult thoughts and feelings without becoming overwhelmed with them. My goal is to help clients develop tools that allow them to navigate distress more effectively and create lives that feel meaningful and fulfilling.
