Consider working together if you're open to exploring your thoughts, feelings, and sensations with curiosity and if you're looking for a therapist who can offer encouragement and a playful, yet professional, atmosphere. Megan's therapeutic approach is warm, collaborative, and rooted in mindfulness and cognitive therapy. She integrates various techniques to help you become more aware of your body’s signals and how to manage emotions effectively. What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

Megan asks that clients complete a 15-minute consultation call prior to booking, and that the intake forms and assessment be completed before the first session. This is to determine if the client and practitioner are a good fit and to streamline the intake process. If a client wishes to book a session at a time that is not available on the calendar, they can message the practitioner, who may be able to accommodate the request. During the session, the practitioner will review the client's history in detail, focusing on factors relevant to their mental health and the reasons they are seeking counseling. Together, they will establish therapy goals and discuss the treatment plan. The goal is to build a connection, and if appropriate, the client may be referred to another provider or for medication management.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

As a clinician, Megan is dedicated to providing personalized care that evolves with each client's unique needs. She believes that flexibility is essential to effective therapy, allowing her to adapt her approach to best support the individual journey of every client. Megan is committed to treating each person with the utmost respect and dignity, fostering an environment where clients feel understood and valued, no matter their race, ethnicity, religious or political beliefs, or socioeconomic background. To ensure clients feel empowered and heard, Megan actively seeks feedback at the end of every session. This collaborative approach allows her to fine-tune her methods, ensuring that each client receives care that is tailored to their specific goals. Together, you will work as a team, making progress towards achieving lasting mental health and personal growth.
