I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist who works with adult clients to improve anxiety, depression, self-esteem, and self-worth. I have a background working with anxiety disorders such as Generalized Anxiety, OCD, Social Anxiety, Agoraphobia, Specific Phobias, as well as Depression, workplace stress, and Adjustment Disorder. I use various therapeutic modalities to support my clients in making meaningful life changes.
In our first session together, here's what you can expect
In our first session we will discuss what brings you to therapy, what you can expect from therapy and what you can expect from me as your therapist. We will also complete a psychosocial assessment that gives me a better understanding of your past and current state of being. We will get to know each other and set your individual goals.
The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions
I believe my greatest strength is cultural humility, which allows me to hold a nonjudgmental environment while viewing my clients as sole individuals. I also consider my ability to empathize and sympathize with my clients as a great quality and strength.
The clients I'm best positioned to serve
I work with adults 18 and older. I have experience with all races and ethnicities, elder, and LGBTQ+.
Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)
I use CBT to help patients connect how thoughts influence our emotions and behaviors
Dialectical Behavior (DBT)
I use DBT to help patients become more in touch and aware of how to identify and regulate emotions
