I prioritize and deeply value the therapeutic relationship in my work as I believe a relational approach works best to achieve positive, long-term change. Additionally, I believe in mindfulness based approaches and somatic experiencing for a deeper understanding of the mind body connection and how we physically carry feelings. I often bring systemic concerns into the therapy space as our broader society impacts our individual well-being.

My biggest passion has always been to help others, and I am so grateful I can achieve that as a therapist. Helping my clients identify struggles and find new skills for coping makes my work as a therapist very rewarding. My personal life and professional life can often overlap since I value service, holistic healing, spirituality and community. I love animals, and when I'm not with my fur babies Ayla, Lynx and Bandit, I spend some of my free time volunteering at one of my local animal shelters. I enjoy working out and prioritizing movement to keep myself energized and strong. I deeply enjoy quality time with my husband, our family and friends, as well as growing in my own faith and spirituality. You may visit my practice website at www.spiritedpathwellness.com for more information on my services!

Outside of work, I am also a parent, which has further shaped my understanding of challenges that families and young people face. Hi, I'm Angela, a licensed therapist in Pennsylvania who supports women struggling with anxiety, burnout, life transitions, and identity shifts to start feeling like themselves again. I specialize in guiding women through the moments that shake your sense of self, including anxiety, burnout, pregnancy and postpartum challenges, career transitions, midlife changes, and the empty nest phase. I work exclusively with adults who identify as women or with women’s experiences. Many of my clients are exhausted from holding everything together while quietly wondering, 'is this all there is?' They’ve often spent so long prioritizing everyone else that they’ve lost touch with their own needs, desires, and sense of self. You deserve more than just coping — you deserve support in reconnecting with yourself and your life. Having faced my own struggles, I understand the courage it takes to show up for yourself. I support women in embracing their full selves, with all their strengths, scars, and stories, without judgment or pressure to “be fixed.” My approach is warm, trauma-informed, and deeply practical, blending evidence-based tools such as CBT, mindfulness, and emotional regulation strategies so you leave each session with real skills. Whether you’re navigating early motherhood, a major life transition, or a midlife crossroads asking, 'who am I now?' this is a space where you don’t have to perform, explain yourself, or have it together. You just have to show up. I’d be honored to support you in this next chapter of your life.

Whether you're struggling with a lifelong diagnosis, traumatic experiences that are interfering with your life, a recent crisis or setback, or are struggling to find your place in this life, I would be honored to work with you and help support you in all the next steps you are made to take. I specialize in helping women of all ages find their power and voice as well on growing in their ability to see their value and gifts. In addition, I also specialize in working with ADHD women looking to enhance their own identity as a neurodivergent and powerful individual. Hello and welcome! My name is Danielle, and I am a licensed LPC with over twenty years of experience working in clinical, school, and home settings. I recognize the increasing complexity of modern life. With each year, we accumulate more experiences, both positive, and negative, that we are expected to process while "keeping it all together". I have a Master's Degree in Education from West Chester University, which I enthusiastically use to help my clients learn to thrive in our challenging world. I view every client relationship as a unique opportunity to serve as a positive and impactful influence that inspires lasting and meaningful change. As a parent, daughter, caregiver, sibling and partner, I understand the pressure and expections of modern relationships and the flexibility needed to manage daily struggles while remaining motivated, focused and stable. Similar to many of the clients I work with- I recognize that even the good days are exhausting and demanding. My ideal client is a person that is ready to choose to show up for themselves and engage in the process of self-transformation to create the outcomes they desire. You deserve to become the best version of yourself. I welcome the opportunity to walk with you on this journey.

I believe that meaningful change happens when people feel truly seen, heard, and understood. With more than 25 years of experience as a therapist and wellness professional, I bring a compassionate, down-to-earth, and collaborative approach to helping clients navigate life's challenges particularly around issues with food, diet/binge cycling, body image, self-esteem, and relationships. Clients often tell me they appreciate my warm, genuine style and my ability to balance empathy with practical guidance. I create a safe, nonjudgmental space where you can explore your thoughts, emotions, relationships, and patterns at your own pace while feeling supported and empowered throughout the process. My work is grounded in the belief that emotional and physical well-being are deeply connected. In addition to my training in social work and psychotherapy, I have specialized training in intuitive eating and functional wellness, which allows me to take a whole-person approach to healing. Whether you are struggling with anxiety, stress, life transitions, relationship concerns, self-worth, emotional eating, or simply feeling disconnected from yourself, I help you uncover the root causes of your challenges while building practical tools for lasting change. I don't believe therapy is about fixing what's wrong with you. Instead, it's about helping you reconnect with your strengths, gain insight into patterns that may be holding you back, and create a life that feels more aligned with who you truly are. We will work through your personalized goals to help you move forward with greater clarity, confidence, and intention. I believe true health is not built through perfection or extremes, but through sustainable habits, self-awareness, and learning how to work with your body instead of against it. My goal is to create a supportive, nonjudgmental space where clients feel understood, empowered, and capable of building a healthier, more balanced life that genuinely feels good to maintain.

Let me introduce myself. My name is Bradley Peters. I am a transplanted Canadian, who has been living in Pennsylvania since 2001, just before 9/11. I have been a therapeutic specialist in the field for over 17 years. Reaching out to a professional can be daunting, but once you do, having that support and learning tools to help change those painful feelings becomes invaluable. My practice is small, isolated and private. I serve adolescents and adults 14 and up. Currently, I am only seeing clients through telehealth, but I am hoping this does not dissuade you. Telehealth may sound impersonal, but in reality, it can be a very convenient, safe and secure way to communicate issues, and I have yet to have any difficulties establishing strong relationships through this medium.

I specialize in working with men who struggle with self-esteem, relationships difficulties, motivation issues, social anxiety, ADHD, depression, and parenting issues. The clients I work with generally fall into 3 groups of people. The 1st struggles with self-esteem, social anxiety, some difficulties with forming healthy relationships, sensitivity to rejection, uncertainty of who they are, and being self-critical. The 2nd struggles with ADHD, indecisiveness, following through on goals, feeling disorganized, talking compulsively, racing thoughts, having too many ideas, and being perfectionistic to a fault. The 3rd group I work with are fathers or husbands. They may have difficulties controlling their emotions, connecting with their partner or children in a meaningful way, or communicating their thoughts and feelings in a way that's honest and empathetic. Every client I see is unique and not everything listed always applies, but if you see yourself in any of these groups then I encourage you to keep reading. Unfortunately I do not work with clients under the age of 24.

Living life, relating to others, adapting to changing circumstances in a changing world, understanding our needs and desires, communicating those needs and desires to others: these are undertakings that require a degree of self-awareness, self-understanding, and insight into what drives us. It is my hope that I can be of some assistance in your process of self-discovery and self-acceptance. When meeting with me, you will receive friendly, compassionate, and non-judgmental support as you do the work of self-exploration, self-reflection, and reintegration of dissociated or fragmented parts of yourself and/or your experiences so that you may undergo a healing process. You will also receive practical suggestions of ways to cope with difficult emotions as they arise throughout the process. I endeavor to create a safe, sacred space for these experiences to occur as well as to ask questions, provide perspective, and make suggestions at times to encourage action or change.

Welcome! I'm so glad you're here and making this decision to try something new. Therapy can truly be a sacred space, it's a place that can absolutely change your life, if you allow your self the time and space to heal. My focus is to see you as uniquely you: the good, the bad, and the sometimes ugly. I believe we all have inherent value and worth, and I strive to see this in every single person, including you. We may have some changes we need to make and some behaviors we have to part ways with, but through this healing journey, I want you to know how valued and loved you are. To embrace life again like we were meant to. To forgive others and learn to let go. To change what you can and find peace with what you can't. I operate from a trauma-informed perspective - recognizing how the past has changed the way we see ourselves and those around us. I look at how early life experiences impact our relationships, attachments, emotions, motivation, and joy. I incorporate mindfulness to help with regulation and utilize psychoeducation to understand that what happened in the past can't be changed, but we have the ability to pursue healing and growth regardless. At this time, I am self-pay only for couples sessions.

Hello, and welcome! My introduction to the counseling field began while working within therapeutic group homes that served children through adults experiencing mental health struggles. This experience, both enriching and meaningful, inspired my interest in pursuing counseling. I was deeply moved by the varying degrees of challenging life experiences that we are all tasked with navigating and the ways we attempt to cope, gain insight from, and hopefully transform our adverse circumstances. I received my Master of Social Work degree from Portland State University and since, I’ve had the opportunity to assist a diverse range of clients in both inpatient treatment and outpatient therapy settings, and more recently, at a college counseling clinic at the University of Montana. Within these programs, I’ve helped clients address anxiety, depression, grief and loss, trauma, academic challenges, relationships, identity changes, sexuality, and general life stressors. I am grateful that I can work to help individuals navigate the evolving nature of their lives by providing unconditional positive regard, encouragement, and supportive guidance.

Frequently asked questions

When looking for online therapy, you can see anyone that is credentialed in Pennsylvania. We want you to find the best fit, therefore, Grow Therapy shows available therapists across Pennsylvania from Pittsburgh to Scranton! If you’d rather see someone in-person, you can change the filter from virtual and find a therapist near you in Pennsylvania.

When booking you’ll be asked to verify with your Member ID. However, if you don’t have any of the insurances available you can select cash. Our therapists will have their cost of appointment on their profile. Individual session costs will vary.

The specialty filter is optional. You don’t need to check any boxes to see a provider. However, fit is very important when selecting an online therapist. If you have knowledge or experience to recognize what specialties you may need. For example, your selected specialty, Family Conflict, is filtering therapists in Pennsylvania that work with patients with similar concerns.

Finding a provider with a similar life experience can be beneficial because it can be easier to establish rapport and potentially be understood quicker and clearer.

Your first therapy session is for you and your therapist to meet each other and to ask any questions that you have about the counseling process. This is where you can expect your therapist to do the same as they will ask questions to gain insight into your specific situation. In this first session the therapist is doing their part to gather as much information so they can better assess if they are able to meet your therapeutic needs. Depending upon your provider's specialty, you may also discuss the methods the therapist will use. For additional information on therapy methods, please visit the Grow Therapy Help Center. Some people feel nervous before their first appointment, and that is totally normal! Coming prepared with a list of questions for your therapist may help. Remember, you're taking a brave step by seeking therapy, and it is okay to be nervous as you try something new.
