About me

Navigating life's challenges can feel overwhelming, but you do not have to figure it out alone. I bring a warm, open, and deeply caring presence to our sessions, ensuring you feel completely safe and heard from day one. With nine years of experience as a mental health therapist, I specialize in translating your insights into real, actionable growth. Steering the complexities of adulthood can feel very challenging, especially when constantly battling anxiety, depression, or the executive function of ADHD. My therapeutic style is solution-based, meaning we won't just talk about problems; we will actively collaborate to build practical tools, shift stuck mindsets, and create the positive changes you want to see in your daily life. Let's work together to unlock your strengths and move you forward.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

The hardest part of therapy is often times just showing up for the first appointment. Because I value a warm, open and caring environment, our first session together will be low-pressure, collaborative and conversational. I will start be reviewing initial paperwork and answering any questions you have about the therapy process. Then we will talk about what brings you to therapy and whether you would like to discuss specific symptoms or relationship issues. I like to briefly touch upon your history, including past relationships or trauma, to help me understand the broader context of your life. Lastly, we will wrap up by discussing what changes you are looking to make and set goals to achieve in treatment.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

My approach as a therapist is rooted in my own life experiences. I believe my personal history greatly adds to my professional abilities. I do not believe in a harsh or rigid therapeutic approach. Having faced and navigated my own personal challenges, I bring a unique blend of deep, authentic empathy and real-world wisdom to our sessions. I don't just understand these struggles from a textbook; I know what it takes to survive them and come out stronger on the other side.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

Typically my ideal client is self-aware, college student or working professional struggling to juggle life expectations. They are often trapped in a cycle of high-functioning anxiety, where perfectionism and impostor syndrome drive them to excel at work, yet leave them feeling exhausted and burnt out. Many of my clients let chronic stress bleed into personal life causing other areas of life to be impacted. They are highly motivated for change and possess the insight needed for therapeutic work but feel stuck in these painful relational and professional loops. Goals include, work-life separation, sustainable ambition, assertive self-advocacy, healthy boundaries, conflict resolution, reduced overthinking and more.

My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

I apply CBT by helping client illuminate and disrupt the rigid loops connecting they're anxious thoughts, depressive moods, and survival behaviors. Once client have recognized these loops, I can help restructure thinking. CBT is a collaborative type of therapy that looks at how your thoughts, your feelings, and your actions are all connected.
